George and I did a big thing (for us), we hacked to a show for the first time, we went on our own and hacked across the fields (another big thing for me!). It took us 45 mins and we had one scary moment when we met a horse and trap, and George had a little panic but we were ok
We got to the venue and OH arrived to act as groom and take pictures, George was mega chilled and not phased at all
We did the test (prelim 10) which we both find pretty tough, and it was ok and as George cantered on the correct leg both times I was happy
Gave George a rest, a little drink and a carrot, before hacking back, most of which was spent with me patting him and telling him what a clever boy he was
The icing on the cake was when I went to collect my sheet, only to discover we had got our highest ever prelim score - 67% and had come 5th in a class of about 25!!!
