*drumroll*

He is Australian shepherd, GSD, Husky mix!

I would say he looks like a GSD had ASD markings and behavior somewhere between the two.

And just a husky tail!

Cool! I didn't know you could test that... how much did it cost? I'd love to know what Leah really is, and see if my guess is right!

Abe sounds like quite a challenging mixture, actually - although he looks like a complete sweetheart!

See I could have sworn he had Akita in him because of the shape of his head!

Ah well, glad to hear he has some of the best blood in there

(probs where his bloody skin condition comes from

I think you should call him a Siberian Australian German Handsome

I could have also sworn he had akita in him and so could his vet.

Good blood he is, i feel comfortable with handling his 2 shepherd breeds so i feel good about that. He really shows nothing of the husky in him.

We have another test from another company which we are going to try to see if they come back the same. Me and OH both came home one day and were like look we we got and it was both dna tests from different companies.

Charmaine- They were $100 google dog DNA tests and see what you get. You get a little certificate back which is ment to be proof of what breeds they are. We needed one for when we move to prove that he has not pit bull in him.

Oh and CC we are not getting the little pit bull guy, we went to see him and he is a wonderful dog and i knew the perfect family for him so took them to see him and he is going home with them this week.

Cool, glad to hear he is going somewhere great, even if it isn't with you guys

DNA testing is pretty much a must in GSDs now to prove their lines/health/qualifications are all above board (plus, in the UK, thanks to a shyster breeder from the 1980s and 1990s who stood all these AMAZING German imports at stud....which were not at all the dogs their pedigree said they were

Yeah i was worried about being able to rent with a pit bull, but he will be happy in a home with another pit bull and a spaniel.

I am slightly concerned about this first company we used as the reviews i have read online since have not been good where as the reviews on the kit i got at the vets have been really good. So we shall see what that one comes back as.
