Forgive me as I'm truly exhausted and about to go nap. I'm using what I just posted on Facebook as it does spell out everything.

We're here finally! Cudo is (hopefully) napping under the cool fan air in his 13x13 stall with bedding that rivals American Pharoah's level of plush. (6 fluffy bales! ) He traveled very well and did an earnest job eating and drinking and after many rolls in his fluffy paradise( before and after his bath) he seems just as relaxed as ever. He's eating and drinking and had a good temperature 90 mins after arrival. We'll watch that while we're here but he looks great.

John Salvaggio did an awesome job driving more than 75% of the journey and I'm forever grateful. He's collapsed and napping now himself. I'm happy as the hotel room is all organized and things are unpacked and in their places. I'll nap soon. Cudo is slated to go out tonight so we'll throw him onto the bluegrass this evening in a smaller paddock. The farm is amaze balls and very conveniently located to the horse park. So thankful.

Now we wait for our time to ride Tuesday a.m..

We have some cool pics but for whatever reason it's not letting me load them. Try going to Cudo's Facebook page to see them.

@milliepops this was a LONG drive. We left at 10:15 last night and got there at 11:15 this am. Now we did stop and sleep for 2 hours at a rest area but we're all whipped.

Glad you made it there safely, it looks amazing!

I must say that I love your gallop photos too, especially the all 4 hooves off the ground one.

Good luck for Tuesday

My husband's photography skills are such an added benefit to my life. I've got tons of memories forever from literally most all of my horses and shows over the last 8+ years. It's something that I feel very fortunate and lucky to have this kind of historic record.

Glad you all arrived safely and are all settled. If your hotel bed is even half as comfy as Cudo's looks you're doing well!

Ok UPDATE!!!!! And I hope I am catching you all before bedtime!!!

We had a glorious day. Two stellar rounds and believe it or not a WIN as well. And not just a win but a win by 2 full seconds in front of the 29(!) other horses. Now I am not sure that these folks were really in the mood to go super fast but Cudo's ability to leave out strides and be careful with his front end really came in handy!!! The line from 2-3 was a 6, we did it in 5. The line from 5-6 was a 7 we did it in 6. And when you watch you'll see that Cudo does it so so so easy. In the arena that large a winning time for an 11 fence course, with 13 jumping efforts of 64 seconds and change feel pretty good. We were moving right along as I lived it, but on video it just seems slower.

We have pics of the 1.30 round as well, but not the 1.15 round. John's camera had a thankfully brief malfunction. Those I will post here once we get them downloaded.

We're having some food now and planning to take a well earned nap! Cudo is happy as a clam and was lounging in his stall devouring his hay when we left.

Game plan for tomorrow is to do the 1.35 speed class and then see how that goes. If it goes well, that'll be it for the day, and we'll scratch our second class. If it goes a little lacking we will do the 1.30 after it to give him a second round to work with.

Thanks so much for all the support and questioning. It really helps to be a bit introspective and think out all the options and plans.
