It isn't just me who thinks wearing black boots with tweed is wrong is it?!

**If you agree than I can somehow justify to myself that it's ok for me to buy some Regent Grafton's in brown....

I have done in the past, but I am only talking for hunting and low level shows, not for serious showing.
What do you think?

I don't like brown boots for showing - all about black!

But then I've got a ginger - don't really like brown tack on a chestnut.

I used to have a Cremello and he looked stunning in havana! x

Haven't thought about that before! Dont think i've ever even SEEN long brown leather boots!!! My boots are black, so you've got me worried now, especially as 2 of my horses have havanna tack! Ahhh well, excuse to go shopping!!! You buy your boots too!

About as colour coordinated as I am normally!
My horses, whatever colour, have to make do with whatever tack I have here (pretty much all brown) but I do have a black dressage saddle as there wasn't much choice about that!
Am 99% of the time to be found with a black girths on my havannah saddles though!

Black boots for showing! But I do have the Graftons in black for showing but love them sooooooo much I am going to save up and treat myself to a pair of Brown ones for riding in at home as I keep riding in the ones I am meant to save for best.

Get the Graftons they are gorgeous and soooooooo comfortable!!

I've got long brown boots to go with my tweed. won a few county shows wearing them so don't see that they aren't correct

PS I'm wearing them in the canter shot in my sig - bath and west last year.

LOL - was teasing myself with the same question yesterday. However, I've got black tack/boots and really can't afford any new stuff either so will be sticking with them anyway! I couldn't find any long brown boots suitable for showing on ebay tho' my YO bought a beautiful expensive pair from Badders £££'s and I'm sure the Regent Graftons will look fab on you

I've always worn brown field boots when hunting in tweed. Not sure about showing - certainly black boots are fine but have rarely seen anyone show in brown boots.
