Seems like the north of England and Scotland were going to be hit badly by wind/rain but looks like on another post Devon/Cornwall are not fairing to good,I'll start in Lancashire its very windy not constant but some amazing gusts but dry!! Horses were wired to say the least tonight!!

It's very windy but rain off for now in central Scotland. Horses out and huddling for shelter but all happy enuf. Think there's a fair few bridge closures and rail delays

Fairly calm here, river just broken banks
Horses did not want in but I insisted, not sure how much more water will rise.

Yep Scotland was going to get the brunt we have had a few road closures, and motorways reduced speeds ect ect, the horses came screaming up the field but seemed content enough, the good thing about the wind IS there are NO FLIES !!

East coast of scotland - strong winds this eve and same now, only a little rain.
My 2 are happy to be in, but they'd have been fine out as woodland to hide out in.

We get winds like this often in winter, so no sign of a hurricane

The wind has been terrible here today, I had to turn out / bring in 15 horses today and every single one might aswel have had a firework stuck up its arse!

Moonlit starry skies and no wind down here on the south coast....pretty cold aswell! Horses in and rugged as both are wimps and demand that it is their right to come as soon as the season changes! lol

All dry and calm now in worcestershire.been dry all day,but was very windy today with very heavy gusts at times.

Very windy and rainy in Cumbria last night and all Monday

Today is forecast the same but the wind speed not as fast !
