Not sure how old you are so will be delicate here.....have you ever looked at a really old cows backend, the vulva isnt tight and they have pointy out downwards facing buttocks.....well its a bit like that. The area directly over the top of the base of the tail goes all lumpy looking as well.

ok i know this is kossette's thread but while your all in one place..... my mare is loosing her behind and has the lumpy looking tail and slack vulva but doesnt look hugly bagged up? we have no idea of her foaling date other that it will be before end of april. please help. does she need to be bagged up before foaling??????? np. her teats are bigger than before but not huge?
I'm hoping and praying it's going to be tonight, I'm so tired!! My own maiden mare is due in May so trying to watch all the signs of pending birth...........excitingbut very tiring.

Oh my goodness I have been watching for 4 nights now and am getting really excited - I have never seen a foal born - only on film.
