Another thursday! This one came around quite fast for me :)

What's everyone up to? Hope the weather is kind though we're forecast some rain in my neck of the woods.

Not a lot on here, Darcy has been in silly-mode with the changing seasons so we are off for a lesson first thing tomorrow. Mostly to enjoy riding in peace indoors and hopefully get him thinking properly again :p

Have fun everyone, and more sympathy carrots for the sick-notes.

Crikey, its come round quickly!
Saturday am off xc schooling lesson at Twesledown, tho have been in and out on foot helping others, I haven't ridden there since the last century! 😱🤔☺
Sunday am into deepest Sussex to see a pony for someone

Good luck to those competing, and have a good time whatever you are doing :)

Was supposed to be doing our last event of the year, the east Anglian club championships, I pulled out of the national championship with the idea of doing this one instead. Then I broke my hand and a finger.... there’s no way I can hold the reins even getting dressed is a surprising adventure so now I’m on the hunt for a plan B. Booo. Winter is coming :(

No horse adventures this weekend. Mainly trying to get Breagha ridden and kept going as we have Adult Camp next weekend and also try and finish of our lorry as it currently has no floor in it.

Love reading about everyone's plans for the weekend. I don't normally share as 'fencing and poo picking/filling in rabbit holes again' is abit boring.

But, this weekend will be spent sorting horse's and fields out so hubby doesn't have to much to do (he's on horse/chicken/ferret sitting duties) while a friend and I are away in Vienna next week. Getting quite excited now as its getting closer its starting to feel a bit real!!

We are booked in for a tour of the Spanish school of riding on the Friday and then a watching a demonstration/show on the Saturday. I'll get lots of photos to share too.

Have a fab weekend everyone X

TFF - sounds fab. Interested to hear what the ground is like pls as I've got a clinic booked Sept 29 and worried it's going to be too hard.

Blenheim for me on Sat. Yay. Thanks to Lexi for sending me a ticket and parking pass which is awesome. Not been before. Girls trip out which I'm looking forward to.

So a horsey weekend for me but no actual riding, as on Sunday I will be out with OH.

Good luck all and have a fun weekend.

On Saturday, I have to go to the Post Office to collect a 32kg kettlebell. Maybe go to the market (I got a really nice roasted pork hock last week). And probably do a bit more clearing out of the garage. And fix the side wall of the shed that has started to bulge out...

There's the regular lesson 11h00 to 12h00 on Sunday, and then there's an endurance event. I'm not competing (obviously), but I might go down to where the start and finish line is; there will be some other stuff going on, there (beer and sausage sandwich tent and some merchants).

Well the forcast for Saturday is a sunny 24 degrees.. and then Sunday its heavy rain here. Great!

We have our first funride Sunday since his op, he use to be super.. so fingers crossed he behaves as its quite a fast one!

Never been to Blenheim before.. jealous of everyone going though. Is it worth the drive?

happy hacking sat then a quick school on sunday as being as ive entered N24 and N39 in a couple of weeks, need to stop hooning round the countryside and remember how to do circles!

M still off for another couple of weeks so no riding for me but I have quite a few jobs to do before winter so will get stuck into them this weekend. Need new roofing felt on a shed, shed needs painting as do wooden stables, yard to sweep and power wash, that kind of stuff

Then when M is ready I can get on with it

It's a great event. I'm in Bristol so it's a good hour and a half drive but I try and go to every event I can get to. Just to support the sport if nothing else. The prize money is shocking and the sport needs all the support it can get. Just helps that it's also a nice day out.

All being well going to collect a new horse for someone else Saturday. Not looking forward to driving the trailer on the motorway with a strange horse 😰

Then sunday autumn hunting with the bloodhounds - really looking forward to that! Hope the weather is nice, should be lots of stubble fields 😁🏇

I'm going to Blenheim tomorrow, just for a wander round and a bit of a laugh with my YM. And lunch. There had better be nice food ;)

Saturday I had been planning to go and see rara and ester at Ashfields, but clearly not as rara is broken (which is not cool,by the way).

Sunday I'm taking Fergus to archery which will be interesting as its at a different place and it's just me and the master which is terrifyingly intimidating.

Hope folk have a good weekend, lessons, competing etc - and that we'll get photos of the new horse Kat (is this for your nephew?).

I'm going to try and fit a quick visit to Blenheim tomorrow. I should have been helping out but my back is still a bit knackered so I shall be going as a visitor instead. Saturday long evening hack planned and Sunday I do believe we are going to have lots of rain.

Quiet one for me , as still have a bit of concussion after I came off and landed on my head . Don’t remember what happened , but I’m told my mare decided to jump top of the wings and then wiggle on landing . Cue me out the side door . I think I need to focus on dressage going forward 🤪🤣😂

Have fun everyone out and about

I hope all those with injuries/injured ponies heal quickly.

We have a quiet weekend here with some lovely spring weather, just planning to hack both horses all weekend to make the most of the warmer sunny weather after the rain we had this week. Apart from that I am on puppy walking duty as hubby is judging at the SJ champs here all weekend. Maybe we will pop down to have a look.

Early one for me tomorrow riding, house viewing (with land eek!) and then getting ready for one of my best friends birthdays - so heading to Leeds for some shopping eating and daytime drinking before catching the last train home to party the night away!

Loaner is riding on Sunday so I shall be having a breezy day enjoying having all my friends in the same place :) (we live all over the country!)

Ooh where are you going to chippers? We’re just back from Montana which was beautiful and thinking maybe Canada for our next ranch trip.
