Great fun weekend at TREC Champs.
Rained pretty much all Friday night, and all Saturday. Orienteering in the rain, got a bit lost, got back on track. Found our way all the way round despite thick fog, now rain and an errant electric fence in the way!.
As a pair, lying around 6th place overnight. Obstacles, my silly old horse decided that seeing red and white flags might mean he was eventing again!
Some good marks, a couple of 0's (trashed the reinback completely). Redeemed himself in the control of paces, getting the highest mark in our section. Pairs partner returned the highest mark in the obstacle section, so we ended up winning!
Delighted with both ponies, and made the long drive home feel a bit shorter
