My weekend starts today, with a jumping clinic tonight, J hasn't jumped since before Christmas so hopefully he wont be too silly.

Then saddle fitter is coming out tomorrow to fit a new jump saddle

Off to NH showjumping on Saturday, then working Sunday




Whats everyone else up to?
 
Saturday am not up to much during day - probably take boy for a hack. Am cat sitting at a friend's house Saturday night so will be nice to have a house to myself!

Am going to Norton Heath on Sunday for first BSJA show!

On Saturday my sister is taking Chloe hunting, and I am going with her on, I've just been told, a bay mare called Clover.

Soooooo....I've got butterflies already.....*and breathee*

Pretty similar to you MH!
Have the saddler coming out tomorrow to check Blu's saddle as it has rubbed her a bit and then if the saddle is ok, we are going show-jumping on Saturday

Saturday, will be clipping the boy.. miraculously this will only be the 3rd time i have clipped him since coming back into work beg Nov.. hopefully the last time too.!!
Sunday, off show jumping (joy).. looks like it will be a late one as i am doing the last 2 classes (6 and 7) and at the last comp they did class 6 didn't start til about 5pm.!!!

Friday night am at friends house for dinner and things I think, will lunge pony.

Sat I am hopefully having a jump lesson with Dexter and walking Spider in hand twice like I have been for the last 2 weeks!! Boring!

Then Sunday I get to get on her YEY

20mins twice a day for a week, will prob ride Dexter as well but apart from that, thats it

As horse #1 is still broken and horse #2 is not quite ready to compete I have the pleasure of building a new ramp for the lorry. Been putting it off for too long

Going to London on Sunday ,Monday cruise up Thames and flight on London eye then Les Mis. at night .Tues hope to pop over the road to get tickets for British Museum to see terracotta soldiers then home in the evening.
That's if my daughter can possibly manage by herself!
 
Saturday: ASBO childs first party outing since October.

Got to start getting boys fit......... then sorting out electric tape in field (a job i hate) and then trying out new lorry (well to me) on sunday, making sure it's ok then handing over a large cheque....... well i hope
 
WEll was supposed to be a lesson with Andrew Gould on SAturday but the stupid power steering belt went on the lorry the other day meaning its died !!! and because of new year i cant get it fixed till next week !!

so will maybe hack or do a little jumping this weekend !!

Teaching tomorrow afternoon. Teaching saturday morning early, then visiting Mrs T as long as weather isnt too bad.
Sunday Madmare is coming over to ride out.
Its nice now that FinnMcCoul has moved in so I have some company

Saturday off to Vale View, Leicester for Eventer Trial, Sunday clipping friends horse and then hacking my other two girls out........

Teaching Saturday (brrrrrr)
Going to BBs for a hack out (and maybe a wee bit of trotting this time!) on Sunday.
Thats it! I can't wait to start competing again.

I am off to have my hair done on Sat in prep for Black tie ball on Soxford on Sat night.

*Must not drink too much and make arse of self in front of important Dr type people*

Sunday: Picking self up of hotel room floor and hacking both ponies out
 
I am rather excited as I have rashly booked the baby girl in for her 2nd ever dressage party at Oaklands.

Don't know the test (yet) and have no idea how to get there, so we are off to a good start!
 
Hope to get a couple of hacks in over the weekend as we are soooo bored in the school!

Need to charge lorry battery if we are going anywhere! What is is about lorrys conking out over christmas and new year, happens every year and to add insult to injury have just had a £600 bill in to get the bl***y thing through the plate!!
 
Have played with ponies all day and its gone far too quickly. Had a whammy of flatwork and jumping lessons today shared with spotted cat. So now keen to try out my newly discovered/taught SJ planning skills and the lucky destination is Badgworth for BSJA on Sunday.
 
No competing (what's new) but tomorrow am working the morning, hacking the coloured warhorse out again to see if she still likes the new wonder-bit (Myler combi, we have hunting brakes!!), and then hacking again Saturday morning. Then I have to hand her tack back to her owner
