Weekend Plans?

I'm taking the mare out sj tomorrow evening and then hopefully going eventing on sunday

. Fingers crossed it goes ahead, my last 2 events and WH championship I was entered for were all cancelled due to the rain

so the horse hasn't had an outing in 5 weeks and he's in great form so I really hope it goes ahead!
 
Well done for qualifying

Friday - up early to shop and pack for long weekend at BRC National Finals at Lincoln
Saturday - competing in style jumping and riding test
Sunday - cheering on the juniors (and probably being roped into some job!)

I've got a lesson on the new one, Lindt, on Sat and Sun I'm competing Harry (just in training section until I can be sure he will behave!) and apart from that lots of schooling!
 
Fri - leaving for 4hr plus drive up to BRC championship at lincoln in haowling gale!!! and trying to camp, prob end up in mate horse bit of lorry on camp bed!! so will get pissed as a fart! just so i can sleep
Sat - rushing around like to numpty(with hangover) sorting teams and then riding pairs and rural riders classes with totally impossible timing between classes

My weekend is going to be dictated by the weather

, but could go along the lines of:

Fri - Burghley, but having seen weather forecast might change my mind about that. Really want to see the Young Event Horse class though...

Sat - out with hunters on hound exercise first thing; then either watching Burghley on telly all day or taking the Baydale Boys showjumping.

Sunday - will take the boys showjumping at Manor Farm if I didn't go yesterday. If not, will probably go to Burghley.

No competing for me this weekend but going to be busy all the same.

Friday: Off to visit Tilly (my 3 yo) to see how she is progressing with her backing and schooling, last week she was trotting up and down the drive and round the school. Very excited to see my little girl again!!

Saturday: Off to Lancs to pick my new horsebox up! Yay!!

Sunday: Down to Keysoe to watch the Trakehners UK show and hopefully pick up some tips on the Mare Performance test ready for Tillys grading etc next year.

Tonight - picking up Fifi from vets
Friday & Saturday - learning as much about gastric ulcers in horses as poss.
Sunday - Dog show with HJ and her dogglies, I hope the pup is aware that she will be busy whilst horsey is recovering!

Rosie's at BRC Champs on Saturday, going up there tomorrow. Bertie's doing elementary stress and Lottie Open SJ.
They both visited blingland at Towerlands on Wednesday, Newcomers and a Fox height speed class. Lottie had one down in each class and Bertie had one in the first class but went clear (but with time) in the second. Very pleased with Bertie's effort
