Mine's are at home, and although not technically "in" at night, they are in a small paddock with minimal grass (given hay ) and field shelter at night, and get turned out into a large field for grazing in the day. They go over to the field any time from 9-11 in winter, and get brought back at 5:30ish normally, but could be any time from 5-7pm. I don't stick to set routines. Then I don't need to stress if I get delayed for any reason. I know they are fine because they never have a strict routine.
