I went out last week and bought my wormers, having to give my name and address, number of horses etc as you do. Today while I was out I nipped into a different place as I was near to get rat poison for which I needed to leave no information?

As my OH said so long as I don't use wormer to knock him off I'd probably get away with it! (he was joking I add!)

I have to leave my name & address to buy grass nuts made from,,,,,,,grass! It's because they are classified as an agricultural feed rather than a horse feed (though picture of horse on the bag!)

I was asked for my name and postcode when I went and bought a bag of Mollichaff last week at my local agri store. The girl at the checkout said they had to ask it of anybody buying cow, pig, sheep or horse feed. The others I can understand...but...horse feed? really?

I have to have a 3 copy prescription for wormers plus they cost over 20 euros!! I wouldnt moan too much as to how things are in the UK-so far, you've got it easy!
Re the 3 copy...I keep one, I send one to the local health authority vet..and the vet keeps one. Why? Who the hell knows!
