Firstly a huge congratulations to A P McCoy for winning the Sports Personality of the Year but the lack of other equine mentions, as if nothing of note happened this year in anything other than football, golf or athletics, just got me thinking, who would you nominate for Equine Sports Personality of the Year? ?
The lovely Lenamore leaps out for me for trying so hard and for the fantastic style he had when flying round the biggest track, but then the list could be very long... Laura B’s Alf from the WEG was fantastic and so nearly got there....
Just interested to see what everyone else thought.

Her perforamces were outstanding but her final run was absolutely incredible, even in defeat. One of the best racehorses of all time.
 
Am I allowed to pick more than one? Definitely Lenamore - amazing horse, particularly at his age.
Totilas and Mistral Hoijris (sp) for dressage
Denman for racing - I have met him and he is just hilarious, the complete opposite of what you expect from a racehorse!
 
Would love to say Mr President, gotta love that quirkiness.
