Dressage test (intro a) .

Went yesterday and drove an hour away to lift a bit, came back tried her in it, then washed her tail and plaited . Went and lifted my shirt and stock, then went and lifted the box and brought it back to the house , Hubbie could hear a clicking when putting the jeep in drive and then into reverse , Hands on his head and a few swear words later

......He then informed me the drive shaft was either about to go or has gone .

Anyhoos ....next time eh ? .... and as for the jeep, hubbie taking it over to fix, hes going to perform a transplant and take a piece from our other disco larry and hopefully put it into lorna .

Fingers crossed it works .

Booking an indoor next week to take madam to it , so will have a heads up for the next show .

For those that don't know, this was meant

Oh no - that is so frustrating...

I had the same thing a few weeks ago with the lorry on the morning of what would have been out first BD outing - I was so gutted to have missed it.

And of course - in true form - things have been going t1ts up ever since then - so I am still planning our first BD outing!!

It will be good practice just going out for a jolly to the indoor though - fingers crossed it all goes to plan

Oh dear. I should have listened to the signs i was given repeatedly throughout the morning yesterday, my little madam was goin out to myerscough for first comp yesterday. Woke up, got into car, took 3 times to start (it never does this) got to stables and it was snowing thick huge flakes that had covered the yard in minutes, washed the grey git off and the shower broke, no hot water so had to boil a kettle 7 times, then she wouldn't go in the lorry like she usually does. Ultimately i got bronched off in the warm up in full view of the cafe - should have read the signs and gone home back to bed!

Cheers hun x x

QR- Just out of curiosity, is 'lift' an Irish term..? Only it reads like you went out and stole all that stuff........ Language is a funny thing isn't it?

I have to say, when you said 'lifted' I thought you were confessing to being a raging cleptomaniac!! lol

Sorry to hear about your bad luck. So frustrating when you are gearing up for something and it all goes wrong through no fault of your own! x
