That would be my guess to, plenty of saluki luchers and merle collies. Collie in lurchers is really popular as it increases brains and bidability you need that with saluki blood in there too

They are known for being a bit velcro! Idris will be left, and is quite happy for a bit, but my God does he go loopy when I get back!He's absolutely beautiful. Out of interest having had a fab one years ago her only real quirk was terrible separation anxiety despite lots of behavioural trainers help. Is that generally a quirk of the breed or just her?
Helpfully despite having let the breeder know as an adult she'd need to be left a few hours each day the breeder only mentioned well after we'd got her that the bitch had terrible separation anxiety as well
