hi, was just wondering how many people were Welsh owners...?

What do you have... A, B, C, D or a crossbreed.

I love welshies and own a few of my own, ill post pictures up when i work out how. would love to see some of your welshies too!

I have a gorgeous Welsh D, chestnut with flaxen curly mane and tail. He is every little girl's dream...but he is mine!! I love him to bits and he whibbles me all over with his beak...he also has a penchant for Werthers!! His posh name is Outrington Extreme but he just hacks now as age is creeping on. I have no idea how to post a picture perhaps someone could tell me??

I have a section C gelding and D mare.
obligatory pictures :)

Oh my your chestnut is very much like my old mare. wow.

heres a picture of my section A, which if i decide to move ill have to sell. had wanted to show him this year as he moves fantastically but i have no transport atm. its a shame he will miss out on another showing season.

I have a D! I love him to bits! He's 14.3hh, just turned 7 & I've had him since a foal. He's called Addy but registered as Ynysgerwyn Adam - by Thorneyside The Terminator out of Osbourne Black Bess. Bright bay with wavy mane & tail lol - look at the hunting pic for the tail!!! Here he is, filled out a lot since the hunting pic now .....

Love it when someoone posts about Welshies :)

I've a section D, she's just turned 2, currently standing at 13.3hh, a gorgeous little bay.
She's the equine love of my life, and she knows it and we're in it till death do us part, which may be next year when I attempt to back her :D

Will have to come back to post pic, am on a phone x

I've got a 2yo D colt just now who I am planning on running on entire and to bring out under saddle.

Previously I have had a number of cracking and not so cracking welshies. The best of these would have to have been my Sec C mare. I bought her as a 5yo broodmare to break and show under saddle but she didn't want to be ridden. She refused point blank to go forwards with someone on her back so she is now a broodmare once more. Of the A's I have had a Friars pony in all but name. A Whinneydene pony, a Leafycroft and a proper old fashioned Coed Coch pony. I have never had a B though.

I have a Section A who is currently riderless

I have a 12 year old welsh D :D
had her since she'd just turned 6 and after a rocky start absolutely love her. On bad days she's moody, horrible and opinionated and every other day she's a superstar :p Welshies really teach you how to ride :D:D
And because I love to post photos of her....
in her winter best

oops photo overload..sorry!

I got a 5 month old Sec D partbred at the end of 2009, having never owned one before I bought him as a companion to my homebred foal. He has turned out to have the most amazing temperament ever, SSOOO easy!! Everyone at the yard wants him to stay, 2 people want to buy but aren't in a position to, but as he was only ever a companion I'm having to sell him, however he has truly made me a convert to welshies in every way possible, If he was going to make the same height as my homebred and excel in dressage to the same extent, I'd be seriously tempted to keep him and sell my homebred!! Welshies rock and rule!!!!

I have a Section A mare :) I'm too big for her but we've done loads of inhand showing.

Here she is back in April looking a bit shaggy despite being clipped

And more recent being lunged - she was spooking at two things so looks a little wierd. Please excuse Yellow Dog's head :D

Me me me!!! Ok, so he's only a quarter section B (rest is spanish) but any chance to show him off! Best cross in the world if you want something little, athletic and a bit mental! But a total and utter sweetheart who just wants to enjoy life.
