Yup. Again.

Ho hum
grin.gif
.

Current yard has lovely people, all year turn-out, and not bad stables, but no school and the hacking is limited: one route is via fields that we must stay to the edge of - Dizz not very good with that or the mud; the other route is straight out onto a busy B road (once one has negotiated the gate!).

New yard has: lovely people, lovely school (with lights, included in the rent), and lovely stables. Dizz's stable is big and open and airy and it's in a big and open and airy barn

. Only drawback is that they have to be in at night - no time limits, but in none-the-less
frown.gif
. It's also further away. And more expensive.

The owner's daughter is keen on BSJA, so Daughter is happy

**Actually it's now nine horses...**

**So, tomorrow we move Dizzy, Little Cob, Little Lad, Big Cob, New Lad, Little Lady, Young 'Un... and Tiger and Monty 'cos Wimbles is going with us!
grin.gif
**

Plus cabinets, mahoosive feed bins, normal feed bins, more rugs than you'd find in a rug shop, saddles galore, rubber mats (argh!!!), and a whole host of Other Stuff.

We must be mad. Absolutely barking mad lol. But hopefully we'll be able to work the horses properly
grin.gif
. Dizz will get some back end muscle, LC and BC will jump for joy, NL will learn about being a leisure horse, LLady will continue her education, and LL will just enjoy the attention

.

Wish us luck!

Good Luck! Sounds like a good move and the routine of coming in / going out may help Dizz to settle
smile.gif
Plus the barn set-up .

Don't over-do it too much!

Well, Mrs M I am pleased that you have found somewhere for the tribe!
grin.gif

Please, please take it easy with the moving. You still need to be careful, although I'm sure that you know that and you will be a good girl.

Best of luck for tomorrow - hope the weather isn't horrible for you.

Thank you folks

.

The nice people are lending us their lorry(!), which I will be driving on the grounds that I have the most experience and should have had the most sleep by then lol. I find it less tiring to drive a lorry than tow a trailer so

.

...going to see Jools Holland tomorrow evening...

Good Luck with the move

I bet the new yard owner thought all their Xmases had come at once, 9 new liveries in one day

EDT to suit

Thankies

New Lad is Friend's new boy, an ex-racer (he's rather gorgeous).
Little Lady is Friend's daughter's three year old NF (had her since she was a babe).
Young 'Un is Friend's other daughter's NF yearling.

Sorry! But you can still come visit CH
grin.gif

Lol, more like me following them
grin.gif
. In theory there's three of us with nine equines..., but the ponies are the daughters really
grin.gif
.

Could do with the removal men!

Any offers gratefully accepted lol

Glad you got it all sorted, and the new place sounds just what you need. Bet the old YO is gutted they didn't get a move on with building the school, loosing 9 x livery must surely be a dent in income.
Hope the move goes smoothly. It might be worth considering hiring a man-and-van of the sort that does the loading and unloading, that charges an hourly rate plus mileage. SHould think they're looking for work at the mo as the housing market is going to be slowing down for CHristmas and was a bit grim anyway.
