What are the best sites to advertise my Ifor Williams hb510 on?

Hy guys,

What have you sold your trailers in/on?

Is the friday-ad a good one for selling trailers or should I go for horse and hound or another site? Sometimes the bigger websites are expensive.
I think i'll put it up in the local saddlers too.

Hi I just sold mine 2 days ago looking for a small lorry instead - I put it on ebay and sold for £2700 before the end of the auction. I think it would have gone for more as had 162 watchers but was happy with price and the people were really nice!

Oh thats a good idea, can you do it as a classified ad or do you have to do an auction advert?

A lot of the 'auctions' for trailers on Ebay never get to the end of the auction, the item is withdrawn - probably by people viewing and then buying the trailer straight off.

That way you just pay the listing fees and there are no Final Value Fees.

Luckily I was able to buy my trailer from someone who let their auction run to the end.
