I never knew cockchafers were dung beetles.

We had one fly in the house one evening. Scared the hell out of me and the dog! Didn't know what the hell it was til I looked it up on the internet - the name made me giggle!

I think the dog ate it in the end.

They are definitely beetles. And they decimate piles of droppings. Someone look them up please!

They are baby beetles - they are not born big you know
