mine is...
Brand new Tyrex (Equithème) rug, cost 159. And the fastenings wont stay fastened. I've found my mare now twice with a dangling surcingle strap, and yesterday one of the chest straps had come unclipped, so the rug had slipped back and was pulling on her shoulders. Conversly the clips for the leg straps are already stiff and won't snap back into place, leaving them permanently open or closed grr.
And another one - yard related... Our yard help insists on taking rugs off over the head without undoing the chest straps. I can live with this on my mare, who is 13.3, and I can easily ret a rug back over her head, but my youngster is 16.1, and it is an extra 5 mins (I know, not much in the grand scheme of things) to undo the chest straps while the rug is over the rail/in my hands to put it on him.
Ah well... only another 6 months to go!
