What colour horses have you had/got?

Bit of a mixture for me. First horse was a nice chestnut and white coloured, then a very dark bay (black in winter) with no white at all, then a beautiful liver chestnut with a white star, a grey mare and now a yellow dun highland with a fab dorsal stripe and zebra markings on his legs.

One very dark bay/seal brown with a white stripe and one white sock, and one (currently dapple) grey

One Piebald shetland, one golden dun shetland and a beautiful dapple bay cob with a white blaze and three white socks.

My favourite colour was an appaloosa x who I would describe as "blue roan with spots on". I guess "appaloosa coloured" would be the correct term but it was such an unusual colour, got so many comments when out and about!

Sounds like what would be described as a pintaloosa.

I've had a bay, a liver chestnut, bright chestnut, piebald and a grey.
I now have a bay roan new forest pony and a skewbald Irish sports horse :D

Mahogany Bay, Dark bay,Bright bay, bay roan, chestnut, palomino. Several of these. Never had a grey or a coloured( piebald/skewbald)

Currently have two sooty palominos and a chestnut. Pretty good for someone who would only do bays for a long time!

We currently have two blacks, 1dark bay, 1 bay and a grey. The two ponies we have out on loan are chestnut and grey, he was dapple grey with a white mane and tail when he was younger.
I think the only colours we have never had are dun and palomino.

Of the four horses I've owned, 3 (2 currently) have been grey. I'm never having another. I've had enough of scrubbing. The other was black and sooooo much easier!

The fleabitten grey is a bit easier than the really white grey as he never looks clean anyway so it's easier to hide a bit of dirt. Unfortunately the white grey is the total mud monster.

We have 3 chestnuts ( 2 orange ones and one liver ) all mares. 1 black 1 grey and 1 bay.

Had a dun once, lovely pony. Never had a coloured, not keen. ( sorry to those who have coloureds )

- Chestnut roan (Sec B)
- Seal brown (ID x TB)
- Light bay (Connie)
- Dapple grey (Sec B)
- Seal brown (Sec D)
- Bay (Standardbred)

Would like a liver chestnut and another roan at some point. Not a fan of palominos, buckskins, duns (unless blue) or Appys.

Have had 4 x bays, 3 x chestnuts, 2 x grey and one funny coloured one (was a bay snowflake who sort of greyed out!)

Currently have 2 chestnuts and a bay.

Would love a palomino and a buckskin one day though

Currently have a seal brown tabiano and a dark bay with two white pasterns on his back legs: more black in summer and a proper bay when clipped in winter.

Would LOVE an iron grey one day, they're beautiful.

I've been lucky enough to own and loan the following colours; Dun, Chestnut, Chestnut with a flaxen mane and tail (but really I called him a Palomino), dark bay, cremello.

I've always wanted a dapple grey eversince I fell in love with Murphy Himself as a teenager. Black is also very appealing, damn those Lloyds Bank adverts growing up!

One grey. A very white grey! He's my first horse. I never went looking for a grey, I never wanted a grey, he doesnt seem to what to be a grey either as he spends most of his time brown! 😆
