I think this thread should be deleted- my normally very clean grey Connie NEVER rolls/lies in poo or proper mud (just dirt, dryish mud or clean bedding, I think he has equine OCD or is just massively vain) was sporting a large greeny poo patch over most of his right side when I got to him last night (suspiciously similar to that seen in the OPs picture). As he has never done this before I am pretty sure that he must have been on here and seen the pictures, and now wants to pretend he's a fancy poobald or appooloosa. Can we please remember that impressionable horses may read this thread, so refrain from making these niche coat colours 'cool' to avoid mass imitation.
I blame you all for leading my previously fairly clean pony astray...
