My first thought was 'superficial? much?'

My second was 'black tack? does anyone actually have BLACK tack?'

. Having spent time watching hunter classes with me you'll have guessed my standpoint already though..... and what I think about buckles on cheekpieces, buckles on reins, buckles lined up with eyes, nosebands too low/high/wrong weight for horse... blah, blah, blah

Hmmm, is there such a thing as Tack OCD?

Actually i have just realised something.

I have a brown jumping saddle, and a brown show bridle for workers etc.(which i am now using everyday to wear leather in)

I have a black dressage saddle and a black bridle that is everyday use

both looks smart on a bay

Funny how it's the dressage peeps coming down on the side of black, and the showing people, brown...

No... I am the same. I am real fuss pot when it comes to tack and general turnout (esp badly tied stocks)

I am doomed as none of my tack matches! I have brown bridle and black saddle of dressage and black bridle and brown saddle for jumping. I have tried to swop the bridles round but it just does not work as all my jumping nosebands are black and all my dressage ones are brown!
I do match in dressage on warmblood though as the bridle I was given is black. I like black for dressage and brown for jumping.

I much prefer brown tack.
My grey is in brown tack and he looks smart in it.
It is a very dark brown mind, I made myself laugh actually was talking to people on the yard about what colour tack we have and for some reason I assumed mine was black. Well I thought the bridle was.
Friend had to correct me and say its brown, how could i not know since i put it on everyday lol.
