Hey guys, I am quite a few months late to this thread but just came across it Googling 'Hackney x horse.'

I have been trying to work/find out for a long time what breed my boy is as it is 'unknown' on his passport. He looks like he has Welsh in him but I always thought he looked part Hackney and a few people have said the same AND he has a white patch on his belly!!!

These posts have made me so happy because I feel quite confident that's what he is now so thank you everyone :) I will try and put a pic up later

And his Sire is Hurstwood Romeo, who looks gorgeous, thanks for posting the picture Miss-Rose.

I am hoping to make Rocky an all rounder and so far he's been a good boy (although does get a bit cheeky at times)!

Aww, what a gorgeous picture of them both :) I do have lot's of pics in my profile album of Rocky and his white patch is on his belly but to the side a bit

We used to have a Hackney x Fell at the RS where I work. He was a fantastic forward going hack. Before the RS bought him, he used to do a lot of Driving.

This is my 10 year
Old hackney x cob gelding also has the famous 4 white socks and a white marking underneath. He is by far the best horse I'll ever own.
