Hey!

I'm looking for ideas to store my rosettes, they're cluttering up my room and I've now gathered quite a few! So what can I do with all of them?! Understandably I don't want to throw them away, but it would be nice to keep them together so I can look back at them. Anyway, waffling on now :D Have a slice of cheesecake, and TIA! :) xx

I have string put up in the study and garage and my didnign room and hang them all up there, my best ones go in the dining room.

I heard of people who turnes there old rosettes into a quilt which I think sounds pretty cool and I saw a pic of one and it looked lovely!

They were like this...

But they are now like this...

They are on some mesh that I've put up on the wall. They then just hook in and it's easier to rearrange them.

well sadly i dont have many yet :( as only just started competing my pony but i have a thing that y aunt bought me for xmas its a beaded strin with loads of clips on it looks really nice :)

Nothing exciting.
Have some stringed up in horsebox, few in tack room, few on a board in the spare bedroom- 1st's and 2nd's (rest in plastic bag) , best of my 1st rosette's or important one's in living room on side and the 2nd's are in the conservatory.
Sash's are in a big frame along with a couple of pics. Wasn't sure what to do with the sash's to keep them clean?- what do other's do with theirs?
It sounds like I have a lot but there's not that many in each location.

Some of those aren't from the AVRC are they?

Most of ours are still in boxes or bags, some found their way into the tack room the other day though and are now hung on chicken wire I think.

Sadly, mine are all stuffed into a box somewhere getting beat up. I've been meaning for years to make a quilt out of them but I'm still working on the baby quilt for my best friend's son who turned 10 this year. ~blush~

I have a hangy thing to put brushes and first aid bits in my cupboard at the yard and all mine go on there so they stay nice and clean - my trophies are on a shelf in my spare room except for a couple of the posh ones which are in my lounge.
The ones from when i was a kid are all in a black sack in my mums loft!

mine and my sister's get recycled! My mum buys new centres and then uses them at our riding club members show. The really special ones we keep though! I used to have a massive cork board with them all on, but when that got filled up I gave up trying to display them!

Hey you :D

I just bought something like this from fenwicks, mine is shaped like an apple and only cost a fiver!

The few ones I have fit on fine :o

Previously had a big ribbon plait hanging on the back of my door and they hooked into that.

Good luck in your search! x

I get a clear largeish frame and put loads in side this frame )so you can see the main rosette but not the ribbons!) and put them in on angles etc so its a bit different. looks lovely bright picture and it keeps them nice and clean!!

Some are SVRC, was that what you meant enfys? :)

No, not SVRC, the club was called the Avon Vale, or Valley RC, can't recall which now. They had a personalised horse head motif which looks a lot like some of your centres.

Mine are hooked onto the bedroom door, so that every time somebodies round and they nip to the loo. They can see how much of an amazing rider I am with my all of one rosettes ;) p

Some are from Avon Valley Show at Horton. That's the big blue reserve champion one underneath the red champion one. The red rosette slightly down and to the left is also from that show.

Well mine sort of sit on the kitchen table/microwave top/windowsill for a few weeks until I can be bothered to go up into the attic and put them in the big cardboard box up there!

Stuffed in some Tesco carrier bags :o

However Mackenzie's second that he got at his first dressage has taken pride of place and actually made it onto a shelf. :D
