Thank you, and can I say, you know on the Benylin bottle where it says don't drink alcohol? That's a really good tip.
PMSL!

As a groom, I find it offensive that other people find it offensive to call someone who's a groom a groom. What's wrong with being a groom? I'm proud of my job and my title - being a good groom is an art form IMO.
I can't believe people saying it's a nice little job for someone! Yes someone who doesn't need to earn a living!
.
Actually, RTE, I had a fine time as a groom, and don't particularly have a chip on my shoulder, however, I was rather rude last night, as I was particularly unwell and had decided to risk a glass of wine on top of medication.
I have apologised both publicly and privately for my rudeness.
Now, what's your excuse?![]()
Sorry, I wasn't aware you had apologised, so I apologise![]()

I just do get very cross at people who seem to think there's a sub species whose housing food and clothing costs don't mirror theirs in the slightest!
Thanks for the tip, but you've just given me an idea for a great cocktail.![]()
That'll be folk on state pensions then, for whom £150 a week would be very good money!![]()

Don't think I even qualify for one of them, having bummed happily around the world being a groomso I'm just going to have to die young of Benylin poisoning.

What are you going to call it? Skewbald in the S**t?![]()
Baydale- on another subject, haven't seen you this season, are you out much?
Been out twice: opening meet (got soaked through to my knickers it rained so much) and visited the South Notts (short day as it was so foggy
). Think it must be a message from God.
I'm having to fit stuff in round my chemo treatment though, in case you'd missed that bit?
How about you?
Darrrrling I dont pay my grooms a penny - they get the scraps of oats the horrrses leeeave. If they dare look at me while I am on the yard they get a good whipping - bl00dy layabouts.
Really???
You think that £150 a week for 15 hours of work is not decent wage for a groom?
I can offer the content of my wallet which amounts to £2.50 and 13 euros, half a bottle of Chablis and a bottle of Benylin?!!![]()
