This should probably be posted close to new years eve, but what the hell! I Have a new horse to bring into work and am planning the things I want to do to get me through endless walking :)

So what would you like to achieve with your horse in the next year?

Being able to take Rio for an outing... whether its a competition or not... Just getting there and not having a melt down would be lovely :)

I would like to get my new mare better, fit n healthy and have a canter on a hack before Christmas! after that I'd like to take her to a couple of local shows next summer, just for fun :)

I want to get H fitter. Continue to work on his confidence when hacking alone. Get him more consistent when schooling at home and then do some dressage.

I have finally re-found my brave pants and am hacking out on my gorgeous cob. So instead of a year of in-hand showing I have decided that next year I will be doing ridden showing, and hopefully, if there's any near me, some TREC, which I used to love.

I have bought a new saddle and a lorry in preparation, so no backing out now :p :D

I'd like to try some TREC too.. I love the idea but my mare is a bit of a wimp lol. lots of practice at home me thinks :D

I am hopefully bringing my older dressage horse back into work after he damaged his check ligament.

Also hoping hoping to get out and about abit with the new boy.

I have already achieved my goal this year. To have a lesson!! (or 3!) So, all I want now is to continue as we are, and keep the smile! XC schooling would be a bonus mind....

To get the boy fixed and fit so we can hopefully catch the end of the BE season, winter plans are to affilate him BD once he's back in full work!

I am starting a new job, moving from working training horses, to working as a TA in a school. I am very excited about a change of career, and hope to put what I have learned with horses to the new situation, and learn from working in the school too. Because of this I am also hoping that physically I will be in a better place for my own horse, and we can have some consistency.

I also have a small Auto Horsebox on its way, and hope to be able to go out and about a bit more again. That would mean more hacking and picnics, as well as competitions. I hope to do Elementary freestyle, a few more BE events at 90 and 100 ready to Novice next year.

I want to take my boy to his first ODE, I want to jump the plane at the VAH RAF Halton sponsored ride and I would like to go to the beach!

I also want to begin teaching my two shetlands to drive :)

We are going to Cricklands in April for the winter league finals, then hopefully a summer of competing (local level show jumping) but we will be slowly winding down as Pie will be 19 in the spring and I have noticed that he is feeling the ground a bit more this year. He's fine on a good surface and still loving his lessons so will be guided by him really.

This year I want to:

* Get back my jumping mojo (I used to love it but now it terrifies me as I haven't jumped regularly for years);
* Take Jazz to the beach; and
* Take Jazz to a show.

My youngster is just backed so my plan is to keep building his confidence and teaching him about the outside world this year with a view to starting some schooling next year. I'm also hoping to get a better work/ life balance!

To finalise my divorce, find a new job and finally have enough time and money to start taking the crazy welshie out and about again :D

In our schooling... I'm working on straight halts, obedience (she is very off the leg but doesn't believe in slowing down or stopping when told) and improve her flexibility with lateral work. Is also like to get her jumping more over winter so we can do some WH classes next year.

I would really love some transport so I can get my two out and about.

I also want to start having regular lessons, affiliate BD and work on my confidence jumping so I can attempt an ODE or two.

Not much really!

My transport should be turning up in time for my birthday at the end of September (beyond excited!) so I have many many plans for the next year.

Lesson-wise, I really need to be having weekly dressage lessons and fortnightly jumping ones.
I want to go the beach and XC schooling.
Aiming to spend the winter doing 2 DR comps and 1 SJ/arena eventing a month, potentially more SJ depending on how Maddie is feeling. Hoping to have built up to 90cm-1m by next summer and be competing Novice.
Then in the summer there's 2 ODEs round here that I'm keen to do - one PC and one RC. I really want to be at Novice level (95cm) for the PC one but think I'll be taking a step down to Junior (85cm).
I'm hoping to get out hunting a few times but can't see that pony or I will be fit enough in time.

The only flaw in this plan is that I'm about to go into my final year of uni and am doing 5 modules over the winter term rather than 4 - everything is going to be hectic and awful to say the least. Add to this trying to get a funded place on an MRes and I'm wondering if I can manage. Otherwise pony and I will be a having a nice winter of leisurely hacking :).

Would love to have my self harming mare in work long enough to get out to some competitions and ideally jump a small course and qualify for trailblazers in dresaage. But to have her in work for a stretch would be the biggest bonus :)

I'm aiming to get some consistency with lessons, get back into jumping and improve my riding all round. (Finding a perfect loan would be great too.....but maybe that's for the year after!)

Where do I start I have two youngsters to start one 4 one 5 !!!!!! My, (will be rising 2)shetland colt to show in hand his mum on her show schedule and another midi shetland to learn to drive. We also want to downsize so possibly getting a house ready for sale too . I work part time (was to pay towards ponies) now work so much have less time for ponies I find it all very difficult time wise . Over winter the bigger ponies will do more with an aim to be going out ridden next summer . Phew!!!!!

I want to compete both my horse in top hat and tails, one is making his debut next week and I would like to aim for PSG on him,the other I would like to be at advanced at least. Its always been my dream and they are both going well so to have possibly two at that level is pretty special☺

I want to take Lola to our first show, school XC without losing control, get my Pony Club C test done and ride on the beach!

I'm just aiming to get the Camel Horse through the year in one piece, ideally without him getting too much taller...:D And to keep working on his groundwork and loose schooling etc. But really I'm just watching him grow up and eat.

I'd just like him to stay sound!

If that happens then I'd like to go to some shows, do a bit of UA SJ and dressage, go XC schooling, some hunter trials and then maybe next summer we might be ready to do a little ODE! (In my dreams!)
