What does everyone do for a job?

I am a goat farmer milking 880 goats

Wow! that's not something you hear everyday is it!

I make leatherwork (mainly tack and belts), am looking to do SMS quals in the future.

have PM'd you!

I work for a company that makes and sales agricultural products all over the world. If you are a livestock farmer you will have heard of us and quite possibly use us, as every animal has to have one ;)

R_T by any chance? ;)

I'm a psychiatric nurse and psychotherapist. Really wish I could have my own land to breed a few more horses and keep a few to ride.

something else I'm quite interested in! but I have friends who are in that area too and dont envy them their jobs!

I work in agriculture on the arable side selling seed and fert, and invoicing.......

this is what I used to do, then move to selling horse feed/pet foods etc then to a pig feed manufacturer then got made redundant, and ended up taking the first job which came along, which I'm still in 2 years later and loving it!

I am Production Planner for a swiss based company that produces Fine fragrances for top couture houses, fragrance for cosmetics, household goods etc, and food flavourings. The bit I work for produces savoury food flavourings for things like stock cubes, soups, ready meals and fast food. I come home from work smelling like I've rolled in cuppasoup! But it beats smelling like pig feed!

the job istelf isn't that interesting, but all the other stuff i get involved in is... and the people I work with are wonderful, kind funny people. I love it.

I am a mum to a 5 month old little boy, but previous to that I was a pharmacist. Going to go back part time soon so will be a pharmacist again! I also breed tropical fish and sell plants for planted aquariums! :)

I am a Mounted Police Officer in the Metropolitan Police sounds more glam than it is!!!!

Oh wow. There's something about the police that I find really fascinating - what sort of things do you have to do? I've been secretly considering it as a career for a while now, not sure the parents would be too impressed though, it wouldn't be academic enough :/

It's interesting reading what everybody does :)

I am a part time accounts assistant, part time mum.

But am applying to the police to become a special before hopefully doing it full time.

I work with people with mental health issues. Currently in a half way house for people leaving long term hospital care. I adore my job, just wish it paid more!!
Have previously worked as a sj groom, on livery yards and at riding schools.

Waow. It's really interesting to read what everybody does. I am currently a student studying for my A-Levels, and am not entirely sure on the route I want to take. I was originally planning on becoming a veterinary surgeon, but slightly put off by the 5 year intense course, so am now looking into animal pysiotherapy. I want a job where I can afford a horse on part/full livery without having to worry about needing financial assistance from a partner, but I want to love my job and for it to allow me to work with animals of all sorts, and still have time to enjoy my horse and ride daily. I am not really a people's person, so human pysio is not for me, but animal quite possibly could be. If anyone has any advice, I would be very grateful.

I am a Programme Manager with a global conservation charity. Been there nearly 10 years and most of the time I really enjoy it.

Before that working in a showing/dealing yard and a NH yard.

I am a Credit Vetting Manager.

I am that horrid person that when people apply for credit I am the one that says yay or nay!!

I am on a par in popularity with Traffic Wardens :D

I study Law at Uni and work as a Social Co-Ordinator for a language school in my holidays (essentially a glorified tour guide which is v fun). When I graduate I hope to be a solicitor or a journalist.

If I could go back in time I would have chosen more seriously my job, Don't be put off by a 5 year course as it will fly by. Good on you for wanting your independence.
