What Does Everyone Do For A Living?

Would be really interested to know what people do for a living that come onto HHO. Obviously we all have the same interest..........i.e.........our equine friends. But just curious to know what everyone does.........

I work as a Practice Manager at a Health Centre but have been around horses since I was 4 and been breeding them for the last 14 years. Not a competition rider, in fact the last horse I rode was Geneve about 2.5 years ago now........saying that I do miss the riding part, but whenever I buy a mare to ride my hubby decides to put them in foal..........

........you almost see a glaze come over his eyes..............

What about everyone else?

Well I change jobs soon and my new position is as a wedding planner

I'm a farmer. I have a hay farm which makes top quality horse hay.

I also have a boarding stables on my farm.

I also buy and produce youngsters, so have an equine selling business.

And I have a trail riding business.

My husband helps, although he has his own computer company back in England aswell.

I do marketing for a big Make Up Company and am a general guinea pig for all product-hence why im continuously covered in Glitter!

Part time Ski Instructor at a dry ski slope, also volunteer one afternoon a week at a charity shop.

I trained as a Radiographer then progressed to management and ended up as Head of Modernisation for a large NHS Trust. Gave up when I realised I was banging my head against a brick wall!
Now run the stud farm full time - much more rewarding

Work part time at the local riding school teaching and full time mum to 2 wonderful little boys .

I was employed in Risk, Compliance and Internal Audit and am currently on garden leave following redundancy.

Am hoping to be re-employed in a similar field very soon...altho I have to admit it's quite nice hanging around the house not doing much, which I've never done before... Working on my novel, hacking out on my old mare, practising my piano, getting up when I'm good & ready...

I'm a farmer's wife.....loosely translated to mean an unpaid farm hand!

We own a 230 acre dairy farm. Been in the family for three generations.

Before I met Duncan, I was working as a CPN for Combined Healthcare, NHS Trust. Loved my job but Duncan asked me to give up work as we were never seeing each other.

Now I help him and play ponies!

I`m a foster carer, we currently have one boy with us and another boy coming in about 2 weeks time. We did have a girl for nearly 2 years until 2 months ago, she has now moved on. We have our own son too.
I was singing on the circuit for almost 10 years. But due to my hubbys health scare and the children, we decided not to do that anymore.
