I work in my husband's company as a Projects Manager which involves hr, health & Safety (yawn) and purchasing. Oops, just realised its our wedding anniversary today - best go and make him a nice cup of tea.
Im a book processer, Its a very boring job. I was a trek leader in the black mountains that was great fun but didnt pay enough to look after my horses. I got a 10yr Friesian mare & a 2yr welsh sec d gelding.
By day I work as a marketing manager for a large credit card company. Either side of this, I am running a livery yard (with the help of a fantastic head girl) that will hopefully be able to take over the day job in a few months time - yippee!!!!
I work for a University as a events administrator and also in my "spare" time sell make-up by a well known company, who I probably cant mention on here
I have 2 jobs - Account Manager for an IT Services Company and also am one of the Directors of a small (horsey related) manufacturing company. Unfortunately this means I work insane hours and dont really seem to have time for anything other than work.... something needs to change me thinks...
I am the centre manager of a large equestrian centre in the south. We have a riding school, livery yard, tack shop, cafe and we are also a show centre, BHS where to train and where to ride and ABRS training and examination centre- plenty to keep me busy! I am also a BHSI(SM) so teach as well! Oh, and we also have a team of polo ponies!
I am a journalist and a writer and I work for Cunard Line.
I have previously worked for Nicola Jourdain whilst training with her while I was at uni and for 2 years afterwards. I am now 25. I have competed to advanced medium level dressage, in PC teams and BYRDS.
I don't ride much these days although when I came back from Holland a couple of years ago I rode everyday at Nicola's. She was fantastic to me and I had lots of chances to go to a lot of shows, premier leagues, championships etc. Plus Carole and I used to go to a lot of shows with Dutchie and her horse Fan. So I've had lots of chances to do a lot.
I'm the Head of Design for a well known On-line Retail Company.
It involves Graphic Design, Design for Print, Advertising , Web Design and managing all of other designers in the dept.
However, this wasn't what i started out to do, as I retrained in this area few years ago, after making a living as a painter ( artist, not decorator
)
It's really quite stressful, and constantly work to deadline.....wish i could afford to be an artist again and look after horses
