and HOW on earth do you do it? :p

I'm on a break at the moment but when I had a horse I was juggling a relationship, the gym, part-time study, full-time work as well.

Interested to see how busy everyone else is lol!

Where to start! Horse, dog, partner, house, 3 jobs, training and competing, college 1 day a week plus making time to see friends and family ....phew no wonder I'm knackered lol ....wouldn't change it though ☺

I have 5 stabled horses, pigs, alpacas, lots of poultry, a bird of prey, 3 children, a full-time job which often requires very long hours and a husband that is away a lot during the summer. My house normally looks like a bomb site, but we eat well as one of cooks from scratch every night.

At the moment I'm up at 5-5:30 to ride and do pony rehab, at work by 8am, finish between 4 or 5 unless an incident or other emergency, do pony rehab and yard chores 5 til 6ish, gym/crossfit 6:30-7:30, then either back to work on duty in my first job or as a fitness instructor second job til late. My boyfriend is a plane ride at the moment so weekends are precious between him, horses and going climbing.

At the moment I've only got the horse, a full time job which also involved study for charterd institute exams, my relationship and friends etc.

Whilst at uni I had a horse, uni, a job which was nearly full time, volunteering, extra curricular at uni (mooting - more work than you'd think), my relationship and friends and family. No wonder I was exhausted. I also used to go to a few fitness classes a week.

Working my livery yard full time - going out on personal errands as well as yard errands - also going to see my mum in East Anglia since I recently lost my father. Looking after my CP cats and driving them to and from vets for neutering - vaccinating etc. I cover roughly 24 miles a week working this yard ( not including the driving )

I have a house to run, a small contingent of cats, two active large breed dogs to exercise, two horses on DIY livery, and an assortment of ailing relatives. For some unfathomable reason I recently decided to add starting my own business onto this list. I find not sleeping, living within walking distance of the yard, eating on the wing, and keeping out of any drama to be vital to my juggling act! :D

I have a full time job, work 2 nights a week in a pub and also help with my mum's cleaning on weekends as she's disabled. On top of that I keep H fit and will be competing most weekends from May onwards. The few moments I'm not working, riding or sleeping I try to spend with friends. Fortunately I'm single so my hectic lifestyle isn't really an issue, but I do worry about meeting someone as I just don't know where I'd find the time to see them.

In the past I juggled a helluva lot more than I do now, so truly appreciate what a wonder some of you ladies really are.

I also row (take part in the national and county champs) and until recently was vice chair for the club. I am a Special Constable and must volunteer at least 16 hours a month and I run a Guide unit alongside the usual things like friends, other half, family (who live 4 hours away) plus a full time job and two horses, one with Cushings. I love being busy :)

Five horses, two dogs, one OH.

I am completing a PhD full time, teach 12 hours a week, plus I teach modern dance on a saturday afternoon because I love it. I run 5k everyday, do yoga everyday (only 30 mins at home) and then fit in a couple of hot yoga classes per week and dance classes.

I try and see friends as and when I can but I don't go out as much as I would like as I am always tired as I am up at 5am every morning and don't get to bed until 11pm. My day's are scheduled down to the hour, but it works for me.

A three year old daughter, re-building a semi-derelict house with my OH and doing some online training to keep my skills up-to-date ready to go back to work. Not sure I can honestly say I am juggling them though as the horse has been off work for a year whilst we do the house. Haven't had a bathroom or kitchen for 6 months and sadly that has to take priority over riding! Will need to go back to work full-time with a 1hr commute soon and not sure how that is going to work, but it will have to somehow.

Looking after two elderly parents( moved them in with us for easier life)
Being a widow quite young, having to deal with problems round house myself...can now do simple plumbing, change fuses, lay tiles, ect... Deal with moody teenager who says it's my fault he never said goodbye to his dad when he died! ( hubby died at 2 am quite suddenly in night)
Two horses, now down to one, a dog, tropical fish, taxi services for son and girlfriend! And try my best to get to work on time after sorting out latest crisis at home ...
Life is hard at times, but don't think I could sit in front of tv doing nothing, I do miss having nights out with friends, as finding someone to sit in with parents is hard.. Oh and my sister is a pain in the a***...thinks I've moved parents in with me to gain their favour...as she moved away to the " country" few yrs ago...!!! Ah well...

4 horses, 2 dogs, 1 cat, 2 chickens, 1 husband full time job start work at 7am, and do the odd weekend/evening shift at my friends restaurant when she's really stuck.

I am a lazy old bint and don't juggle anything anymore since I sold the livery yard in December.

I am having a sabbatical, I didn't realise just how bone weary 7 years with just 7 days off had made me. I also was beginning to seriously dislike horses.

So, now I have a tenth of the land, I sold 5 of my horses (have 5 still) sold the goats, sold the ducks, and the child has left home. So it is just OH and I.

The horses fit round me, as long as they have food and water and are OK then I am not doing a thing with them until Spring comes.

Like I said, I am a lazy bint and after I got used to not running around like a headless chicken I am enjoying it - give me another month and I will be all twitchy and restless again.

Meanwhile slapping paint on large slices of wood pays for the feedbills. (Barn Quilts)

Wow you ladies are awesome!

I have 3 horses 2 jobs 2 grown up children 1 dog 2 houses and i have a LOT of people helping me with all of them! Giving up 1 job and 1 house soon so will be spending much more time with the livestock (inc kids!). No OH and v poor at keeping in touch with my friends - happy with the former but will definitely be remedying the latter when i retire :)

Glad I'm not the only fraggled female in the world, 4 horses on totally DIY no electric, running water etc, 3 dogs, fish, chickens , ducks, sheep ( don't forget the tortoise..) full time shift work, Elderly Mum with serious dementia ( not that there is a frivolous type! ) OH, luckily horsey too and bless him does more than his fair share, not that I'd tell him that:) but as I always say to people who think they would like horses, they are not a hobby, they are a way of life. Not one that I would swap as yet. No wonder I'm always kn*****ed

2 of my own horses, a husband, 2 kids (under 12), dog and house with usual things that go with it. Also horsey job, 35-40 hrs week, fitness (running my first half marathon on Sunday!) I feel quite busy, but many here seem busier!?!

4 month old & 4 year old boys, full time 9-5 job, totally non horsey OH who is self employed working very long hours. running a house, 1 cat,1 dog & a recently backed horse. When I had baby no2 I sold 2 horses as couldn't have managed. I'm also a clean freak so my house is alway spotless as I clean & tidy for an hour a day so usually I'm not with the horse until after 8pm on weeknights when kids are in bed & OH & I have been fed. She is on assisted DIY which helps. I do find the balance of kids & horse to be difficult one as I'm always feeling guilty missing family time when I'm with the horse. Having kids & not having the horses as my priorty has been a big change but wouldn't change it for the world :)

My mare is on DIY and I have a 5 mth old baby Moomin. Not a huge amount else other than OH, OH's other two children who are here at weekends (11 & 9yrs), a very demanding hand reared cat who follows me like a shadow, 3 snakes and a house to clean. I am on maternity leave at the moment, but I will be returning to work part time (hopefully 50% until next year, and then hopefully 80% from then onwards). I currently only get to ride about 1-2 per week.

I was struggling but am now managing well.

Work full time, older horse suffering from lack of attention, OH, looking for a house/flat to rent, 3-4 hours in the car each day commuting, gym and voluntary work. Not to mention other family members.

My horse has been on full livery for over 6 years now but the last couple of weeks I have made two huge changes in what I do. 1) if I only have 5-20 minutes to spend with him, I don't go up. I spend quality time where I don't feel too tired or hungry and where I am not watching the clock. 2) I go up in a morning on the weekends, as opposed to leaving the visit until the end of the day. This means it always gets fitted in nicely for a good amount of time.

I go to the gym before work and then don't do a right lot in the evenings when I get home! Spend weekend afternoons/evenings getting stuff done.

1 horse, OH, 3 year old daughter, dog and stressful part time job. I've had my pony 4 months and I've just admitted how difficult I find the juggling. The 5.30 am starts were so tough so I've just moved her into part livery. I don't like someone else looking after my horse really but tbh my marriage needs this part livery and I get tired and then worry I'll get something wrong at work (and if I make a mistake its not good as I am responsible for people's lives at work)!!

So we'll see how it goes!!!

Currently, horse, boyfriend, full time university student training to become primary school teacher where I am on placement for a third of my course, AND doing up mine and my OH's first house together which is involving completely gutting the place before putting it all back together again. But I am loving every second of my life at the moment.
