Skint, how can you get into hunters if you can't get into long riding boots? I can't get hunters over my calves but mountain horse long boots and ariat long boots fit fine.

Would you not suggest mucker boots for riding then? They're like this:

Lot of people are happy in them, but for me personally, I like the support of a fitted long boot.
Dublin johd boots and chapsDon't do shows so i've never needed long boots, if i ever did a show though id have to beg borrow and steal some!

Another here who rides in these boots. I wear them to the yard, muck out etc, then hop on board and ride. Never had any issues with wearing them to ride.![]()
Parachute - I think they are about £40 . Mine are on their second winter, but will need replacing for the next winter as the velcro straps are loosing their stickiness. I love them though![]()

They're really comfy and not too expensive, my main riding boot now.
