what height will he make? height estimation of welsh x tb

My 3 year 2 month old 1/2 Welsh 3/8 tb 1/8 appy boy is currently 14.3 1/2 in front and approx 15 1/2 hh behind. I was wondering what height u thought he would make? He is very very leggy (looks very much like a 2 year old).His dad was 16.1hh and he was the tbxappy the mums height is unknown but cos Welsh d I'm guessing around 15hh.
I did the elbow to fetlock test and it said he would make 16hh. I then did the mid knee to the ground test which said he would make between 15.3- 16hh. Am I doing it completely wrong or is it possible he could grow this tall? I have heard that welshes are very slow growing.

Wow what a gorgeous boy he is I would have a guess at 15.2hh but I could be wrong, I think Welshies tend to grow and fill out up until they are about 7.

Geldings carry on growing until they are 6/7 if you keep him entire he will less likely grow as big as 16hh. If he's already cut he might make 16hh it just depends he might always be a bit leggy and just make 15.2, appaloosas tend to be quite leggy.

Thats really interesting and makes sense! basically saying the reason that warmbloods take so long to mature is their size rather than their breed.
