what iritates you the most?

my pet hate is not pulling numnahs up into the pommel - so it just pulls on the horses withers for an hour

can people really not see how uncomfortable this must be?

also people who always make excuses for their horses when they are just taking the P or the owner just doesnt know how to reprimand horse accordingly.

People who don't know the left shoulder to left shoulder rule when you're warming up!

And people who think that they're the only person warming-up...

There's always one person at a yard who thinks they know how to look after your horse better than you do!! Grrr

PMSL and they are always the ones that you would never take advice from anyway!!

This is so true, actually there are two on my yard!

Ooh ooh, I agree with the crashing into you in warm ups, and those (tend to be at BSJA...) who think they own the ring and the practice fences - AGH. And those who aren't at the door when its their turn!! There's ALWAYS specific people who feel everybody should wait for them.

And I also agree with the who cares about what side the mane is on! I show my Welsh D with his mane on the wrong side, who came up with a "correct" side anyway?! I often go to competitions like BSJA with mud stains all over my grey horse because unlike most, my horse lives out 24/7 and I am not prepared to bath him in the freezing cold to jump in the ring for all of 5 minutes! I dont care! The only time I DO bath the horse or remotely try to be tidy and clean is for showing or dressage when opinion comes into it... :P

Oh I agree with Nat1003
And what really gets up my nose is when when people who does not have a clue about horses pretend that they have but are too proud to ask for advice

Oh and people who blame me for their horses being scared of the carriage, and then aren't willing to do anything towards getting them used to it
( I do check to make sure people who've told me thier horses are cared of carriages arent around, or are being looked after when im driving)

people who talk rubbish about your horses when they know nothing about them!

Does the fact you are replying to me mean that you are the proud if somewhat aesthetically blind owner of such an ugly grey coffin headed native pony?
Just wondered?

Know-it-all people bug me,
People who try to tell you how to do things with you're own horse.
people that think winning is everything and what they have got is better than you.
People that look down on cobs as being slow dobbins.
Filthy tack.
Loads of gadgets on horses.
Kids loose with whips/spurs.

I wont keep on,... the list is endless LOL!!

People who get terribly jealous of those of us with lovely, cuddley, gorgeous little grey driving ponies.

People that put double-velcro Woof-Wear boots on the wrong legs.

Well, I don't know your horse, but I can tell it'll be ugly and hairy, rude and smelly.
