what is going on???

i have just joined but seem to be getting knowhere fast, especially using someone elses username??? everytime i log on its under someone elses name not mine....HELP
i am at present logged on as brighteyes (sorry brighteyes)...this is not me, how do i get to my profile and change it????

I have 2 windows open - I'm me on one, and someone else on another!

ETA - I'm me on the window that has a thread I've replied to, that has happened consistently.

Mine seems to be going through user names begining with M. Been Missmilly, Minky and now Im Mike007... I could also get into their user settings, and some had unopened Pm's-which I didn't view, but worried incase someone can hijack mine and change the details etc....
