What do you actually call your horse/dogs/other pets when you are talking to or about them on a daily basis?

I tend to refer to and call my little mare Piggles or Piggy Chops even though her name is Holly…. my dog Fudge gets called McWuff or Podge :) and my dog Ino gets called Pee-no
 
I have two labs Charlie and Erin , but they are regularly referred to as chax and binky ( erin got nicknamed eri - winkle , which then turned into winks , then binks - god knows how ? )

Paddy gets called padski - we're just weird here really...
 
Dog, real name Sally call her Muppet
Cat, real name Sooty, call him Woots
Horse, Gilbey call him G Force
Horse, Quin call him Q
Horse, Dino call him Bagsy ( I dont know why but it stuck, he evented as Bean Bag lol)
 
Dog real name Fern, gets called (I hope you all have 10 mins to read these) Burn, Burnard, Highfield, Dog, pig, Piglet, Fern tree, Fernard, Shorty loads more but cann't think of them all Remembered another one for Fern she gets called GOC grubbily old cow :)
Other dog real name Dougal gets called Mace, Shorty, Mc Doual, Mc Duff
Cat real name Diego, gets called white s***e, Du, Will
Cat real mane Archie, gets called Big B, Yuch
Pony real name King, gats called Barn (Full name is Barashrone King) White S***t, For King and some really colourful ones when hes acting the tit :D

well: Betty my dog has lots of names... depending on what she has been doing...! :p every morning i tend to say "good morning monkey" when i go downstairs, she grunts back! in general i call her betty... i wont tell you what i call her when shes being deaf and naughty...! :p

Horses:

whisper i usually call whisp, farrier always calls her "little whispi" since she was a foal!

tego: always ends up tego-bego?!

willow: willow, if she's being nice: willow baby... and again i have lots of names for her, which i wont share... when she's being a brat! :p

Inkca: (my friends pony who is at mine as companion for tego when i go out on whisp) inka- skinka or inky stink! :D

taz- gets called tazzy, tazzy bean, beany boy, doofus, the ginger thing, field ornament (hes not he just acts like it), ponieo, beasty, tazzle, tazzle frazzle wazzle :) so on

missey - moo, moo bag, missy moo, witch, miss. ^ as you can probably tell we have had taz alot longer then missey haha :)

Chip - chippy, chippy bean, chippus, mutley, mutters, yappy mutt, *** :)
 
I often refer to Lacey as Kermit, Devil features or BBB depending on how well behaved she has been :p
She is never called her passport name as it is hideous :o


I won't even start on the names we have for our 2 chocolate labs.
 
Dog - Real name Lt Rabb - now Rabbit man
Dog - Real name Magic Man - now Mage or wee-er
Dog - Real name Abbie - now bab be gale.
Cat - Real name Gizmo - now Ee Ee
Horse Real name Rosie - now Mojo
 
Cats:
Luna = Luny Poo or poo
Jayvee = V or boy cat

Horses:
Dakota = Dixie or dix or Tiny pony
Lloyd = Legs or pony-face (also known as cripple pants)

Guinea Pigs:
Albert = Albertina or big pig (SHE was bought as a HE but the name still stuck)
Willow = Tiny pig

Kizzy, 3yr old german shepherd gets called 'Vermin' because like a rat she's never less than 5 feet away from you!!
Dessie, 10yr old irish setter gets called 'Dude' because she is a dude :)
Tally, 2yr old cavalier king charles spaniel gets called 'Midget' or 'Munchkin' because she is a little runt :)
Shadow 9yr old welsh cob, gets called 'fat man' or 'shadwick'

Tinkerbelle the cat is - Tinks, stinks, winks, tinker, stinker and pinks :p
Opal the rabbit is often wople or pople
Barney is the dog is normally barns, barnard and many other way to rude for h&h :D
Honey is the sensible pony so we just call her Hon normally (shes the lucky one lol)
Mysti is a naughty pony so Moo, mys ect lol
 
Dog: Blue- Blue-Blue, Bluesy, stinker, several other names too rude to mention when he is being a pain

I just call the horses general names like sausage, stinky, podgy etc

Ghost-Ghostie,Gho,Ghoey,GhoeyBear,GhoGho,Monkey,Stinky and lots more...some good some bad!
Denby- Denbz,Donny,Demon Donny,Denby Pony.
Dilys-Dilly,Dill,Dilz,Dilly Duckling, Dilly Duck,Duckling,Duckie
Mirabelle- Mirri,Mizz,Mirri Moo,Moo,Moo-Moo
Pipkin-Pippy,Pippy Poo,Pippy Wip,Pippo,Pip
Mudlark-Muddy,Mudz,Muddle,Muddy Puddle

Thats just the horses,won't bother with the rest of the menagerie!!! :D:p
 
pony-real name Meg but shes gets called-Moo, moosey, moose, stinky, smelly, smelly pony, melly moo, moo moo..the list goes on :rolleyes:

And 8 month old rotty pup, real name Nico and my names for him are: lil man, lil pup, stinky, poo face, nauny, bootifull ... again the list goes on :D:D

oh and a friends mare who's a total sweetie called Jess, and naturally she's called Jessie J !

ETA: oh and not forgetting Nico's main name is Nico Nickers, because he LOOOOVES stealing underwear! :D
 
dog's name is woodie we call him some weird names. newn, parny, zarloo, parnymanoo, new new. really weird.

and horse jack is called jacky boy, fatty, fella, jack black, juvinile (sp) jack

we are a weird bunch

BC - Jumba Wumba, proper name Jumble

Cecil seems to keep his name ok apart from an old lady we meet on walks who insists he is called Ethel!

Wanda horse gets Wandy Woo, Wandy Moo, Wooster Booster and Long Donkey!

Old labrador called Orry, his nickname is "Mr Bo" (No idea!!)

Slightly younger Lab called Freya, nickname "Frayfi-anna-trinket" (we have big imaginations!)

Youngest lab called Chloe, Nicknames are "Cloppers" "Clippidy" or "Clip Clop".

Basset Puppy called Bronwen, nicknames are "Brum Brum Basset" "That bloody Basset" or "You little *****" :D

Rufus our ginger cat is called "Dufus" or "That ginger senile b*stard who is eating our food off the counter again"

The horse, Buffy, is called "Buffelina" of "Buffy the Vampire slayer" (Pretty obvious that one!!)

Last horse Poutu was nicknamed "Miss P" , "Poutily-wootily-kins" "Pootle" "Pouts" or "Po Po Parie"

Yes. I have an overactive imagination :D

My horse gets Princess, Diva, Corrie, nun, ASBO , my friends just call her cray - cray (crazy) or mental or insane... This bodes not well!!
 
Jeff gets called the Hocamaffe when others ask about him. A Hocamaffe is a HOrse x CAMel x girAFFE as he looks like a horse, walks like a camel and has a long enough neck when he wants to to be a giraffe.

Freebie gets called Freebs, Freebleweeb, Weebs, Weebleweeb and Fat Lazy Toad :D

Kyle is Kylie, Smiley or Smiley Kylie.

Rainsong just gets called Rains.

Rainbow Quest gets called RQs - as in arcs.

Ranger is Gee Gee, Geeg or Danger Ranger.

Laurel is Mister Laurel, Laurely or Shift Your Great Fat Arse.

Flint is Mr F.

Pippa is Pips or Pipsqeak.

Bellissima is just Bells.

Charm is Charm.

Song Of The Stars is SOS.

Umm, I think that's them all lol!

Faere_Share = Foalie, Bean Poley, but mostly Beanie or Beans

Dogs
Monty Gopher Gold = Montster, Tiny Tiger, mommy's little precious
Vito = Munchkin, furball, YOW gerrofffff!

Fishes are Big Fish, Little Fish, Cardboard Box

And they are ALL called Tigger, cos I can't remember all those names!
 
Dog called meg gets called puppa or oinker

Horse called silver gets called Grumps or little man

Horse called zanti gets called zants or moo (shes skewbald)

Horse called whiskey gets called tubs or little beast
 
Dog called Lexi gets called Lixi, mainly because of her licking habit ;D

Horse called Comet gets called Commie, Com, Wombles, Donkey, Superstar, The Red Donkey, Comenski and dare I post it Comdom depending on his mood.

Horse called Maisie gets called Mais, Moo, Maisie Mouse, Maisie Moo, Ermintrude or Snitster ;D

I am awful for shortening or playing with animal names *whistles*
 
When talking about her to OH, it is the hoss (in a slightly exaggerated northern accent) or simply Her.

To her face Poo Monster or ***** devil in reference to the way she treats her stable. She was scarface for a while too....
