What is the Comfiest Saddle You Have Ever Used?

Sisters mares Ideal WH, it is so comfy, rode her yesterday for the first time in ages and was like sitting in an armchair.
Also bought an old Albion legend dressage saddle at a car boot sale, it was amazing, had to sell it unfortunately cause only fit madam when she was very very slim and that doesn't happen very often

My old BALANCE Baines and Hamilton saddles - the comfiest for me AND the horses. I don't find the new ones quite so comfortable, other than the Horizon, they're too narrow for me, but most people seem to like them better than the older models.

I'm another one for the Ideal!! I got a lovely one for the new horse and then he broke after about 4 months so haven't been able to use it.

Wow. I used to go on REALLY long rides just so I could sit in it for longer... I'm not joking!! :D

Followed by each and every Ideal saddle I've sat in. :)

On the other hand, I've sat in a few uncomfortable saddles, but generally the ones I consistently don't get on with are Albions. Just not my cup of tea.

I love my Jeffries elite jumping saddle. I only got it because it was the only saddle in the whole wide world that fitted my mare! :P I had wanted a GP saddle but I wouldn't swap it now. :)

Somerandom leather dressage saddle I got given to me with my first horse.
No idea what it is can't find out anywhere!
Its like heavan though! and it really makes you stick!

I have the comfiest WH saddle which I got second hand from a sale. Its been made at some point for a saddlers called Chase but I think its an Ideal. Lovely quality and I could hack for hours without a sign of a numb bum! Unfortunately it is a smidge wide for my TB and I have been threatening to sell for ages but can't seem to motivate myself to do it.....which I really should do and buy one I can actually use :D

Farrington also known as Burford event..Mine was custom made got to choose leather and got seperate knee rolls..Its like a armchair :)

My Devoucoux dressage saddle is the comfiest saddle ever. I could sit in it all day, and it puts me is a really good, secure position to influence my horses.

I have an Albion K2 jump which I just don't get on with at all. Having said that I have never found Albion's comfy, unfortunatly they are the only jump saddles which seem to fit my event horse!!!!!!!

For me there are 2 My old Albion legend dressage & gp.

More surprisingly for me, my wintec Isabel synthetic. One of the most comfy saddles ever & my trainer who was a synthtic sceptic the same as i was, became converted & bought one for her youngster too :D

My current saddle is the comfiest I have sat in for a long time. So another vote for Ideal - mine is the H&C.
My jumping saddle was pretty comfy though too, that was a Prestige. Sold it now though.

My saddle is the best its a Crosby, no idea what model. I bought it secondhand for my first horse as it fitted him beautifully and I was so pleased when it fitted my current horse so I didnt have to sell it for a different one. It's like an armchair!
