What is with people.....

Thank god I don't know some of you on here personally. I have almost never come across such a petty couple of people. Lord 'elp us all. I realise that I made a pretty unnecessary comment myself - the skewblad was getting right on my wick tho', adopting a superior stance on this debate. Get a life and go do something constructive, as I'm about to. *vows not to respond to the inevitable bite back!*

i think it's hilarious TBH that people can get so "excited" about this thread

poppy love, just treat it as a massive piss take.....

and I think some of the comments made have been very unnecessary.

.......and which one's are they, then???

There are several comments on the last couple of pages that are quite personal and mocking towards nat1003 and I don't think it is fair to bring personal comments into a discussion like this. That is just my opinion, clearly there are several people who disagree.

[/ QUOTE ]

You do seem to wander from thread to thread, just stirring, name-calling and making personal comments, Spiral, without adding anything constructive to the original debate.
This assumes, of course, that no one would consider constructive your patronising comment that grooms should work for below the NMW, because horses are fun, and after all, once they graduate, they will earn proper money. Not all grooms, Spiral, are middle class graduates playing with ponies during the summer hols whilst Mummy and Daddy fund them.
Some even have mortgages, families, and the attendant bills to pay.
But that is just my opinion, clearly you will disagree.

and when nat1003 says 'I don't give a flying **** what you think' that would just be reasoned academic debate would it?

She may find someone to grovel to her because of her 'power job' and her condescending attitude where she lives, but she's on a hiding to nothing on here!

[/ QUOTE ]

No, thats not a polite comment to make on her behalf, but its not a personal attack on your job or circumstances either.

I think your comments about her are unfairly personal. You might not agree with her opinion on a fair wage to pay someone to muck out, but that does not mean she wants somebody to grovel to her either.

Just thought I'd stick my two penneth worth in, because I can

as it's a public forum - ho de hum

" Know it all type, very opinionated, stated "you get what you pay for", wanted £10 per hour. Yeah right, get real, its horses."

A pretty brave statement to make amongst others on a Horse forum frequented by those who work with horses.

Not exactly conducive to a balanced, reasoned debate. You reap what you sow

I think this post has got really quite unpleasant now, a few people seem to be ganging up and its not nice to see

Nat1003, I would ignore the sniping.

[/ QUOTE ]

If only everyone could make such lovely, kind and constructive comments as you, eh, Spiral?
Damn I wish I could be so non-judgemental and conciliatory as you!

I guess you don't read your own b1tchy posts before you send them.
