What is you 'horsey' dream or goal?

We has that similar goal & achieved it with a pro show jumper wanting to buy our lad (we didn't sell).

We've also wanted to qualify for a large competition, which we've achieved a few times & then ultimately get placed or in our wildest dreams actually win.

This week at Scope Festival 2011 daughter achieved one of her's & our greatest goals & actually won a class. The smile on her face when she entered the ring with a winners rosette, a champion rosette, a plaque & an embroidered rug on her horse was fantastic........all captured on video so we can enjoy it over & over again.

Sorry for the indulgence....I'm a very proud Dad at the moment. :)
 
The olympics! Think I've missed the boat for London. I don't Care where or when but I wana b there representing our country!
My partner says im ridiculous and I know it's stupid but u hav to aim high! 2 sayings I like... If u can dream it, it can happen and ... Shoot for the moon, even if u miss you'll land between the stars.
To ride round burghley or badminton clear would be amazing.
Hopefully more relaistically to sell my young horse and take my other horse to BD elementary successfully and nationals (am still struggling at novice!)
 
My goals change all the time! I aim for small goals and then when I achieve them, I aim for something bigger.

My initial dream was to have my own horse (it took 20 or so years but finally achieved a couple of years ago!)

Next it was to hack out alone and to start having proper lessons again. Next I entered a few local shows before deciding to have a go at dressage (and hopefully not fail too miserably! :o)

A year on and lots of lessons and schooling later, we've achieved a few decent prelim scores and will hopefully continue to improve.

My next goal is to try a novice test, alothough not for a while yet!

Oh, and I've also bought a trailer...another big goal!
 
At the moment my goal is to sort my girls canter over the winter so we are up and running for the summer season BD, would like to get her to at least medium. She has the talent but is a serious hothead and an ex-showjumper so had to take her back to basics.

My dream would be to jump double clear round a BN, have a serious confidence crisis with jumps now after a series of incidents. I used to jump around fox quite happily so I would love to be able to overcome this hurdle.

And my ultimate dream is to ensure all my animals, dogs and horses, are always safe, happy and healthy.
 
To have the confidence I did when I was younger. To go to the field, tack him up and ride, on my own without hubby there...trot for more than a few strides, hey why not push the boat out and canter?! :)

Eventually I would love to take my boy hunting but I broke a couple of vertabrae once when racing powerboats, then did myself in good and proper when I came off OH's horse...I dont know if I will ever get over the fear of falling off again and do it.

Failing that, I would love to ride to little girl's school with her pony on lead rope so we can ride home. At least then I only have to walk!! :)
