My ideal crosses would be Highland cross Irish Draught
or Highland cross gypsy cob (although gypsy cobs are more of a type than a breed)

I appear to have a irish gypsy cob x welsh D although I have my suspicions that a rampant rhino escaped from a zoo and got into her lineage somewhere

As much as I love my connie sometimes my legs are a wee bit long for dressage so I'd have to keep half the connie and add a bit of maybe ID in there. So Connie x ID or Connie X TB for me or maybe even Connie x Selle Francais. Lol ok I clearly love connemaras.

bearing in mind that I have TB's, I think I would go for something TB X native ( either conni or welshi) and hope that the natives ability to have good feed and be a good doer comes through

I used to ride a tb x arab x welsh (well, that's what they told me he was) when I was a teenager - he was brilliant. Now - I have ridden a couple of nice ShirexTB or ShirexWB but I think you have to go a long way to beat a nice IDxTB, they defiintely get my vote.

Anglo arabs.

Arab x Highland

Quarabs.

Hmmmmm, I see a trend in that lot.

Ah, another that I like a lot to produce a larger, sensible riding horse. Not a common cross you hear of much though. I worked at a trekking centre that bred these and they were excellent horses.

Cleveland x Highland.

I like most tb x natives.

My current boy is 3/4tb x fell which makes him a cheeky git who thinks he's a racehorse.
The loan horses I had were tb x welsh and tb x highland. They were both fab. I did have a tb x irish draft. She was a very good horse, but a bit too "grown up" for me - I really missed the pony bit!

I've got a TBxShire with the best temperament in the world and a TBxWelsh D who's cheeky but lovely, he's quite fine but we know his full brother who's the complete opposite and is as cobby as anything from the D side of the family!

LOL I was going to say either welsh x tb, welsh x arab or tb x arab!

Bears a cob x tb x hannorarian!

Native x TB is a fab cross, height with a pony brain (althought not sure whether thats a good thing!)

Had a fantastic carriage horse who was out of a Shire x TB, by a ID. I think it was that way around anyway... there was shire, tb and id in there anyway and i remember thinking it wasn't what you'd expect.... Anyway he was bred to hunt but his owner died so we ended up with him and he was a fantastic carriage horse, never lame up until he was retired (admittedly due to arthritus but it was in one leg and a specific minor personal conformation fault) He was propper traditional strapping handsome lad and I would do anything to have him back. When I win the lottery I'm definatly breeding a team of him! He's the bay in my sig

I'd love to cross my Tb mare with a Highland stallion....

nice mix, although I prefer to do it the other way around (breed blood to bone)

of course I am loving the Highland/Arab mix too

Arab x Arab, it's really the only cross breeding I would consider

Well you could still play - Egyptian x Polish maybe?

Egyptian x Polish x Crabbet.........
A long, long time ago, I used to work with Arabs (even before my dressage groom incarnation) and I used to know what all this meant. But I've forgotten, so I've probably just created the eighth deadly sin.
Golden wotsit? or was it cheesy wotsit? See, age is a terrible thing ...... never mind, when I'm ninety and mumbling in my beard, I shall remember every last detail of every last pedigree. No one will know what I'm on about, though ...

The best horse I have owned so far was Arab x Hanoverian so I would love another one of them......but I love Arabs in general...and appaloosa's
