I'm just catching up on the thread after a busy few days. As many others have said I think the support - practical, social, virtual - whatever form it takes makes a huge difference. The internet really opens up opportunity for widening the circle and I have made some friendships through it that will be enduring.

So, here's to chums everywhere!

Salut! :):)

My horsey friends are great - especially my online ones. I've met some lovely people through forums and even managed to stay/meet/ride with several of them on my trip to the UK a couple of years ago.

I have a great friend at home here who is so helpful. Will take me to shows for free, lets me borrow her trailer at a very good price, comes to watch at shows, lets me borrow anything I need.

Dad is also super important as he drives the trailer (and is teaching me how atm) and is the go to person for farming issues - weeds, gates, electric fences etc.

I am very lucky as I really couldn't do it without them
