I am very extravagant it seems! - Cowboy magic yellow out white in - fab stuff but not cheap!! might try one of these on here
I've used fairy for over 20 years on all my horses and none have reacted to it at all. I've also tried various horse shampoos but nothing I've tried gets them cleaner than fairy!
My sensitive thorughbred has had a terrible reaction. Bald patches. She's healthy, fit, incredibly glossy. I stupidly washed her withers in it and now she's losing patches of hair everywhere the washing up liquid touched.Have used fairy liquid for years on a number of horses and never had a problem...I always patch test the first time round just incase. At the end of the day you never know when you'll get a random reaction. But other than that, i use it everywhere except the face!
Years ago my mum was told by a hairdresser never to use baby shampoo as it strips hair!Seriously ?? Something fine to use on a new born baby 'bad for a horse's skin'??![]()
why is that a problem? I've never understood why it's a problem to resurrect threads - if people want to have the same conversation again thirteen years down the line, what's wrong with thatHmm, a 13 year old thread resurrected.

Don't be silly, it's far too expensive to even think about using it on myselfSwitching the question, has anyone used horse shampoo on themselves?!
