Can't really judge the legs from these, but will take your word for it!

Do you keep the long boots on when you go round Tesco, or do you change into trainers or something? You see this is another point - jodhs look baaaaad with short boots or shoes. I knew this bloke who used to wear skin tight beige jods, with black jodhpur boots - he looked like one of those half man, half bull mythical creatures. Not a good look.

Ok, So I am wondering if all these women who are saying how awful us men look in jods, have actually seen what they look like from behind in Jods?
From a male point of view, unless a woman is a size 8 or less, she should be banned from wearing any sort of tight fitting clothing. Especially those jods that have the diffent coloured material on the arse. They make even the smallest arse look huge!!

I dont give a toss, I wear womens jods and half chaps, I like the sticky bum ones and the suede arse/leg insert type, gives me better grip as my treeless has no knee rolls to rely on, the blokes jods all come in beige and look crap, as long as I'm comfy I dont care, and no I'm not gay.

I wear jods and am quite happy to wander round Tescos in them after riding! Mind you, I have the legs for it!

If time is running short and I have a lesson, I will dash up to college in my breeches before returning... saves changing... plus I get loads of (good!) attention

Is that a seat saver? Or is it time for waxing?
Sorry, that's the trouble with being evil...I have no morals stopping me from being rude.
Do women's jods fit ok...or are they too wide/narrow in the wrong places?

I dont have much of an arse so slighlty baggy but doesn't cause any problems, makes room for the lack of nuts area.

I just wear ladies jods to be honest - but they seem to have the buttons the male way round! They're much cheaper and not as baggy as male stuff.

Timefaulter, I have to concede you don't look bad in white jods....good first photo in particular. BUT there is NO WAY on this earth that my OH is allowed any white (or even pale)clothes for two reasons 1. He is a muck magnet. 2. He dyes everything a strange shade of purply grey in the wash when he is trying to be helpful.
I have to admit that DrJames looked quite good too - but so young! I always thought of him as 73 at least!
Pedantic - thanks...I don't know if women's jods will fit OH...and he is objecting to jods on principle...at the moment.
Thanks for the info so far guys.

Panic not. Far to long in the tooth to be vain. Sadly I have reached that terrible age where I'm viewed as a father figure and therefor quite safe to talk to at comps without it being misconstrued
