What size brushing boots?

Prob a small/pony unless they are really small! I have shires ones at the mo and roma jumping boots and new equine all are smalls I have a 14.2 welsh with reasonably chunky legs and a 15.1 arab wiht slenders! They both have small as any bigger would be too big round on the arab and the cob has short cannon bones so they would touch his knees if any longer and they are usually just ok around

I would say it depends on the horse's bone, and the brand of the boots. My girl is cob x WB and is 15hh. I would usually go for a medium, but to give you an idea:

On fronts, 4 strap single lock woof boots/2 strap double lock, or size 2 legacy boots... or 'horse' size clarendons, or medium size NEW...

On hinds - usually one size bigger.

milliepops sounds like you have too many pairs of front brushing boots to me! Though we did buy a box to put all our boots in and they rapidly outgrew it- not v. good at throwing out the old ones.

yeah, perhaps! In my defence I 'inherited' the WW ones, which are now knackered, bought the Clarendons 5 years ago and they are now relegated to lunging boots as they don't budge and don't let the sand in... the NEW are actually tendon boots, legacy reflective... and now I use Dalmars (but they are only one size, so that's easy!) Boot addict? moi?

ETA - I'm also rubbish at throwing things away, because you *just never know* when you might need them!
