Presently mine is growing like a weed and having been at a racing yard his feet aren't great so he gets Limestone Flour for extra calcium to make sure his bones develop well with his growth and Biotin for his feet. His feet have come on really really well. In prep for and throughout the summer he'll get garlic and Brewers yeast to keep flies and midges at bay.

Mine are fed Baileys Lo-Cal Balancer so I know they are getting a balanced diet. I don't feed any extra supplements unless it is necessary. One of my boys as mild arthritis of the hocks so he has Cortaflex but that is the only supplement I feed. IMO too many people feed supplements unnecessarily.

*Pulls up soap box* I truly believe that horses do not need all of these supplements if they are given a balanced diet i.e. the proper hard feed/hay/haylage/salt. I think that these are generally just fads which are fueling a multi-million pound industry. When I say generally, there are of course exceptions where horses have genuine deficiencies that need to be dealt with. I think that there is a real potential for horses to be overdosed with certain minerals/vitamins and that the interaction between them could be causing all sorts of behavioural/health problems either now or in the future. I just think that as owners we should be cautious *Steps down from soap box...runs and hides!*

I feed asu 6000 from equine america alongside Cortavet which helps her stay less stiff and can see difference on the few weeks i stopped it to see if it was working. Redcell or Heamoglobin depending on how anemic the bloods come back each time. Aloe Vera for skin, megatrez which is a vit supplement. This is all for one of my mares.

All 4 of mine get garlic, and my older mare also has magic as well to keep her calm to ride.

My oldie gets Aviform Suppleaze Gold joint supplement - absolutely amazing stuff, cod liver oil and NAF Profeet.
My younger mare gets Nat Profeet and cod liver oil, but will soon also be starting on a joint supplement. In summer I also feed garlic
