What time do you all go to do your horses?!

I feed in the morning when they decide to come over which can be anytime between 7.30 and 9.30 depending on the weather. On the days I work I can't wait for them so take their feeds out the field at about 7.30. Again they make their way over in the afternoon usually just as the sun is setting so I feed them and put hay out when they arrive, as the days draw out so they come over later. Obviously that can't work for everyone but works very well for me and my horses.

1000 latest ... 1030 and I feel rotten about it. Any later than that your an arse IMO! My usual time is 0900 .... Why would you not get your butt out of bed and go to your horse? No brainer to me but we have a at least one on the yard who strolls in at 1030 or later ... chats with people for a bit and then finally goes to see horse ... Grrr WTF!!!!!!!!

They go out at 7:30/7:45 after their breakfast at 6:45/7:00 ish, and come in at 7:00pm , though if it's torrential rain/wind we bring them in at 6 - no earlier. In summer if they're still stabled overnight we leave them out until 8:30ish. If mad mare allows it then I attempt a 30 minute lie in on a sunday but she's usually banging the door down, neighing and throwing buckets about if I'm not down by 7 and is just outside my window so wakes me straight up!

Week days I'm at yard between 7 & 7.30. All horses (22) are fed by first up who is usually a saint who gets there at about 6.30. If she doesn't make it, I'm generally next up. Pony gets brought in by yard between 3 & 4 (weather dependent and number of bring ins needed) and I go back after work - 6.30/7 ish to top up hay, sometimes ride, skip out etc. Weekend's I usually put her on yard turn out which varies between 8-9.30 but again she has had breakfast and a tub of hay to keep her going.

They're out, at home, but I do them at 7am and 6pm on weekdays. Weekends they'll come in for a few hours while I ride and do all the things I can't do in the week. I can see them from the window though so always know what's going on...

Before I had mini I was up at the yard 8 at the latest unfortunately it's now nearer 9/9.30 at the absolute latest (both have ab lib hay overnight). Bring in about 4-4.30 but can be a lot later - sometimes 7pm especially on the days I work. My sharer currently does "morning shift" and I bring in.

Mine are out 24/7. Up at 6.45am mornings during the week, and feed/hay at 6.45pm in the evenings as I don't finish work until 6pm. Weekends usually there by 8.30/9am, and 6.45pm again at night.
Summer same routine really, but weekend days can be a bit later in the mornings as they have plenty of grass to eat.
When my lad was stabled years ago, 8.30am was the very latest I would get there for, usually 8am on weekends, and in winter he would come in lunchtime, and then I'd ride/skip out/hay/feed after work during the week.

Mine are at home. I like to be out by 8.30 to give them a slice of hay even if I'm in my dressing gown! I'll admit this time of year it can be a bit later but not after 9. Turn out normally by 10.30 and in again between 3 & 4pm. pm feed/hay is between 5 & 6 and a last slice of hay about 10pm. Of course it all changes in summer but turn out is normally shorter for one as he is a lami prone.

In the mornings I'm turning out at 5.30am weekdays, at weekends its around 7.30am and bring in is around 5pm to be put to bed properly for around 7pm

Varies with my shift ...

If I'm working early then 6am.
If I'm off or on a late shift then between 8am to 9:30am... Then back down between 3:30pm-6:30pm depending if I'm riding or not.

Haha you should come to my yard! Only two of us bother out back sides to turn out before 10am! The rest either don't turn out and turn up at lunch time or come about 11am. Lazy lazy lazy IMO (of course!)

7:30am most days- 8am if I fancy a bit of a lie in, but even then I feel guilty! They come in just before it gets too dark; around 4:30pm at the moment :)

I keep mine at home but I go out to them between 6am -7.15am depending on whether it's a weekday or weekend, they are then checked throughout the day (exercised/turned out/hayed etc) and then I do evening stables anytime between 9.30 & 11pm. I couldn't go out to them any later than 7.30am in the morning as I can hear them banging on their doors from my bedroom..

Omg can't beleive people rock up at 10am and later! feel sorry for those horses stuck in......
Thought half eight at weekends was pushing it a bit for mine, would not occur to me to lie in bed whilst horses are waiting for breakfast!

7.30 for the stabled horses, some days it is earlier dependant on what is going on. Usually about 9 for the 'out' horses, where they get checked, fed and hayed. Latest is about 10 - that depends on how many stabled horses I may have as it can vary!
PM usually around 4, gets later as days get longer.

During the week they are fed, rugs done and out by 7am usually, weekends I get up to feed and turnout about 7.30-8am, any later and one of them starts kicking their door and I can hear them from my bed! No chance of them being forgotten!

I'm usually out of the house by 5.30/5.40, at the yard before 6- turn out, muck out (if I can be bothered that morning!) and home again to get ready for work. Finish work at half 5, back to yard by 6, fed and ready by 6.30 and home again by 7ish.

On days off my morning time varies, I try to get there for the same times, but generally I give him extra hay because I will probably be later!

Ax

If I'm working in the morning, mine don't go out till gone 12. But they get fed/forage/skipped out at stupid o'clock in the morning and brought in later (and checked/fed/etc late at night too). Since they're at my place, there's no reason for them to be worked up about the time, or upset by it. Those few extra hours in the morning equate to the (often many more) hours later they come in...

Turned out between 7-8am in the week. At my old yard, woe betide you if you turned up past 7.30am to turn out - it wasn't worth the 'atmosphere', but my new yard is more relaxed. I usually aim for around 8am but have been later. YO did call once to see if everything was ok, as horse was still in at 8.45, she's ok with that, but knew it wasn't normal.

Uh oh! Im on full livery and yard is 20 miles away from home in opposite direction to work, so I totally leave it to yard staff when they do the morning and evening duties. I think they get fed at 8, turned out around 8.30 - if going out - and then brought in as light fades. Weekends is same although if competing I am often there earlier than 8 and feed a light breakfast so she is ok for travelling but doesnt have empty tummy.
They will bring her in for me if I am riding though. Totally spoiled.
But I'm considering retirement and will have to give up full livery so will have to learn to do this stuff for myself hmmm x

I feed at 5.15am on weekdays and 6.15-6.30am at weekends. I don't think it's fair to make them wait longer than an hour at weekends as they don't want a lie in.

I also don't understand this logic for bringing horses in by the time it gets dark in the winter when they are then turned out 24/7 in the summer. Doesn't it get dark at night in the summer?!!

Mine come in after dark most of the year and always have. However, I guess the logic is a safety thing for owners - if you're trying to lead in deep mud or get a horse out of a busy gateway, it's probably easier to be able to see what you're doing...

I only do mornings twice a week (I know, it's really jammy!) In the mornings during winter I tend to go up for about 8.15 and evenings anything between 6pm and 8.30pm weather dependant. During the winter they're in at night. In the summer I go up around 9 to give them breakfast in the field and anything between 4pm and 6pm to do tea and then they get turned back out about 7pm. I'm not on a livery yard though, I stable him at a friend's house so I think it's a bit easier.
