I have been offered a 6yr old mare on loan, loan with view to buy or to buy! Shes belong to my friend whos doing a masters. The mare has plenty scope for bigger tracks which is what I was hoping to have with my own young mare.
My own 8year old mare that I bought as a 3yr old in hopes she would be my next 110/120 horse because I have her half sister who jumps this and who has really maxed out at 1m.
My issue is, I cannot take on a 3rd horse. Financially or timewise.
I absolutely love the bones out of my girl but she realistically is going to suit a low level riding club home more than what I would want, but I would hate to sell her and find she ends up in the wrong hands.
How do I come to terms that she is not the horse for me and I her. When I think about selling her my heart hurts.
