whats the difference between rambo and rhino rugs?

Rambo = top of range (excellent for turnouts but expensive!!)
Rhino = middle of range (also excellent)
Amigo = bottom end of range (can sometimes have problems with leaking)

All well made & I'd tend to buy rhino turnouts & amigo coolers/exercise sheets etc.

Rambo are the top of the horsewear range - having had rhino's amigo's and rambo's I only buy rambo's now as they are more sturdy and the fit is more refined so I think they are more comfortable for the horse too besides which they seem to be the only rugs that do not rub my pony. {He has expensive tastes it seems!}

Rambo are more generously cut, particularly round the shoulders, Amigo are better for TB types, with narrow shoulders.

Sadly for my guys, amigo don't fit my draught types and I won't pay for Rhino, let alone Rambo!

I generally only buy Rambos and Rhinos and do find that the Rambo's a lot better quality. It is really noticeable how much more hardwearing they are.

Yep agreed. I had a Rhino turnout from new and eventually the fabric rotted. It did last well and never leaked, it was just the outer layer which is protective rather than waterproof that went.

Most of my rambos are second hand and ancient. I *don't* have them professionally cleaned, just scrub the grease off myself, and they are super duper waterproof and in excellent nik. I love not having to worry about my horses out in all weathers :)
