What's the difference between....

Just looking at the photos (not had MH boots myself) but I would say the firenze looks softer, more refined. Perhaps this would sway a gentleman into the classic. Though I'm sure someone who has these boots could help better than I :)

Or the sportive II - although looking for a boot that's not too chunky as been told I can't ride in those by RI. (stirrups too small)

I am presuming that you ride either someone elses horse or at a riding school. If you don't and have your own horse, couldn't you just get a new set of stirrups that are wider to fit the boots you want?

yep, just at a riding school - maybe just take some wider stirrups would be ok?

ask your RI, some wont mind, others will.
What boots do you have now?
I have had the high riders in the past and they are gorgeously comfortable! Not had any experience of the other pair but they do look like they would be a lot slimmer fit.
BUT, how often do you ride - do you compete etc etc, they are both a lot of money to spend if you just have an hour in the saddle per week, there are much cheaper options.....

I have the high rider II's at the moment - haven't had them very long so I could sell on ebay - I ride 2-3 times a week but don't compete.

Not too worried about cost, just looking for something comfortable and something the RI is ok with. Have to use the knackered old rs jodphur boots or a really uncomfortable pair of long rubber ones.
