just the odd "hasnt he got big ears" or "he looks like a big donkey" lol

not a bad comment but the funniest was on our second/most recent attempt at dressage ........ "well sat " quietly handled" ........think that sums up what our test was like !! Bless him!

evil, really take it to heart a lot of the time as it really isn't his fault. I used to have to tell people to basically just leave him alone because he only loves and trusts his family but obviously they had to go ad stroke to prove something, he bites them ad then he gets branded evil...again- i do warn them!

An eventing friend told me the only reason Shires are slow, is because of the wind resistance from all the feathers.
So once I've got the Veet out, you'll see her in the Derby.

well wasnt really a comment as such but went to the local charity show (im not a showing person but it was within hacking distance and it was a friends event so thought i better show my support!) took butser in the working hunter and was the only horse out of about 20 2 jump a clear round and under thosecircumstances thought i would win as he was the only clear! wen he was eventully 4th the judge said he had bad comformation!! personally i, and many others, think otherwise and anywa if his conformation was so bad compared to the others why was he the only clear!!!

Most peope say very rude things about Moon. I've had the following, all said very seriously-
'isnt she ugly'
'she doesnt look like she shoud be a competition horse'
'is it a polo pony?'
'gosh hasnt she got a big head'
'she looks like all the odds and ends thrown together'

And countless other things. Then again, I'm rude about her myself tbh!!

In January at the Grasshoppers PN SJ i heard someone calleHarry a 'Shaggy Brown Thing' and that he would never make it round the course!
He went on to get double clear and placed 7th while his horse didn't get placed and managed to stop at most fences! I did make a comment at the prize giving in a rather loud voice about my brown thing that surprised some people! and he went rather qiuet then

When having my horse vetted he said

"he wouldnt touch it with a barge pole"
good job i could see the potential in him

(vetting did show all his heart, legs ect were ok i wasnt that stupid to ignore the vet completely

)

he was lame because he hadnt had his feet done for i dont know how long and the groung was stoney so he was just foot sore, when lungeing he was doing bunny hops with his back legs because the circle was too tight for him and he hadnt been tought how to lunge, he was a typical stressy TB

Hes now woking great, is the most chilled TB you will ever meet, if only the vet could see him now... suprisingly i chose not too have the practise he was from. Vet who we have now loves him

Somebody was very nasty about my old girl as a show.We got asked to leave the ring because my 28 year old veteran was doing vertical rears and broncing and we were upsetting the other veteran horses and ponies so on our way out of the ring i heard somebody say 'i dont know whether i want to shoot the horse or the handler'.Bet you cannot which one i am!.
